Chapter Five: Guilty

Hermione's POV

I opened my eyes the next day, I saw his arms wrapped around me. A smile appeared on my face as I remembered last night and how we cuddled all night. It was like the while world is about us. Only us.
I jumped out of his arms as I sighed, "What!" he said as he jumped from his sleep with his wand in his hand. I couldn't help myself but laugh out loud
"I'm sorry" I said between my laughter "I freaked out a bit when I saw what time is it.. They should be here soon.." I kissed him on the cheek to comfort him "come on.. We need to leave." I gave him a smile before I got up and walked to where my jacket was. I put it on and walked to the door
"Wait!" he said with his beautiful raspy morning voice

"Yes?" I turned to look at him, his hands touched my face and he pressed a heavy kiss to my lips, I looked in his deep eyes..
What was that for?.. Is it like a goodbye kiss?
He could tell I was confused by the look on my face

"I know I won't see you tonight.. So it's just in case.." he rubbed the back of his neck. I smiled at him, my hands traveled to his neck as I kissed him. His hands grabbing my waist as he pushed me against the wall and a soft moan skipped my lips. One hand ran through my hair as he tugged me closer to him. He pulled away, we both were breathless "I have.. To go.." he nodded to me leaving one last kiss before I leave. I opened the door and looked to see the corridors were empty. I walked back to my common room when professor McGonagall called me.

"Oh Miss Granger! I was looking for you since last night!" she said as she walked towards me

"I-I Uh.. I was.. Is everything alright professor?"

"Everything is good, Miss Granger. You know the students are coming today so please be ready to lead them to their rooms." she smiled

"Yes, headmistress" I turned to walk to my common room, I let out a sigh of relief when I was finally away from her.. What I'd say is she asked me where have I been? I shook my head and walked to my room to change into my robes.

"Hermione your face is so bright today.. Hope you had a great night" Luna said with a smile, my cheeks started to get pink, and I shook my head as we both started to laugh.

"Let's go" I told her as we were laughing. We left our common room and walked to the Great Hall, everything was perfectly set all the plates, glasses were placed on the tables. I saw him walking by with his Slytherin robes, he winked at me before he left with a punch of Slytherins, I smiled to myself.
"We have to go now, Hermione." Luna said

"Yes. Come on." we both left to where the train would be. We waited for about five minutes when we saw the the white smoke getting closer. A smile appeared on my face as the train pulled over. I saw the younger students getting out. I chuckled as I saw Harry stretching his arms, I ran to him and Gabe a tight hug.

"I missed you!" I felt his arms around my waist as he spoke"I missed you too! Where are the others?" I looked around, then there were Ginny and Ron,

"Hermione!" I heard Ginny's voice she gave a hug and I hugged back. The there was Ron.. My heart sank as I looked into his blue eyes, he pressed his lips to mine the he hugged me "I miss you.." he said while hugging me. "Me too.." it's all that I could say. I pulled away to gave a wild smile to the others I saw Dean and Seamus laughing, Luna and Neville snogging, then I saw Draco with Pancy. My gaze turned away, I took a deep breath before speaking "Gryffindors gather up, please!"We walked back to Hogwarts. All professors were there waiting for the students to arrive, the Great Hall doors were opened I was standing there with the Gryffindors and next to me there were the Slytherins. We entered the Hall and sat to our table. Now the school is not quite any more and it was hard to spot Draco with all of the students. I was happy to be with my friends.. My family. After McGonagall's words the feast began,"So tell me, how was it?" Ginny asked
