Next morning, Hermione asked someone to deliver the sample of Draco's DNA to lab. She was in her office working on the same case Kingsley gave it to her and Blaise. It was only getting complicated, the murderer was using Muggles ways but he showed his mark. Hermione didn't know what to think anymore, she only wanted Draco's DNA results, if it was positive then the case was done and Hermione made it, but if not, then the murderer was still unknown.
"Ughh" she groaned putting her head down on her table between her arms

"Hermione we need to go!" Blaise said.
Hermione looked at him taking her coat, and phone and hurried out her office.

Blaise stopped by an alley, people we're gathering around a body. A dead girl, with a parchment laying next to her.
The bitch deserved it.
Hermione sighed, "The killing curse."
A moment later a women was screaming from the building next to the body, Hermione hurried upstairs raising her wand in the air "Alohamora" she whispered and the door unlocked she pushed it with her hand then stepped in slowly.

She only saw a woman, she was in her 40s, crying out loud in her daughter's room, "It can't be.." she sobbed "they took my baby. She was my only family! She's my baby!"
Hermione's eyes were getting watery, she gasped for air, Hermione bent her knees resting her hand over the woman's shoulder

"I promise I'll find him." She whispered

* * * *

The next day the woman came to Hermione's office,
"Do.. Do you have time?" She asked standing by the door frame

"Sure, please come in." Hermione smiled "Andy, will you please get the lady," Hermione's eyes met hers

"Coffee will do. Please." the woman nodded

"Coffee Andy." Hermione turned her gaze to the brunette lady
"How can I help you Mrs Eliza?"

"I thought.. Those might help you." She said handing Hermione a file,

Hermione took the file, wondering what was in it, she opened it, a few letters in the top, then she flipped through the parchments. Her heart sank, she stared in the picture, for a moment, the guy lying beside the girl, it was him. Draco Malfoy.
"I uh.. I'm sorry Mrs Eliza. Wh-who's that guy next to your daughter?" Hermione asked showing her the photograph of them.

"Oh, this guy" she smiled "His name is Draco. He was with my daughter seven years ago, she loved him but they broke up after six months, she never told me why. I only remember she came one night crying, her lip was bleeding and.." she sniffed "there was a cut on her cheek. Then she told me they broke up."

"He hit her?"

"She didn't tell me." she shook her head

"Well, Mrs Eliza. I'll check this file and work on it." Hermione said nodding

"Thank you for your time, Miss Granger." She smiled weakly leaving her cup on the table and left

Hermione stared on the picture in front of her for so long, tears filled her eyes, "he can't be.." she said sobbing. She wiped her eyes took a deep breath before taking that file and left to Blaise's.
She slammed the file on his table and he looked questioningly at her, she pointed at it with her eyes.
"Open it." she spoke

Blaise opened the file and saw the picture of his best friend with the victim, "Merlin's!" he muttered

"Come on, let's find him." she said quietly, taking the file back to her office, she placed it in the middle drawer and locked it.

Blaise was driving, Hermione just sat in silence. It was the most quiet rise in both their lives, Blaise stopped by a building, it was about eight to ten floors, it barely had any walls, as it was all big glassy windows.
