Chapter Twelve: The Burrow

Hermione woke up smiling as she was going to see her friends, George and Mr and Mrs Weasley. She walked downstairs she smelled the odor of cookies being baked.
She grinned at her father who was sad that she was leaving, she sat next to him wrapping her arms around his waist and rest her head over his chest

"You're going to see them in school anyway." he said wrapping one arm around her shoulder

"And I'll be with you when I finish school. It's my last year dad." she chuckled

"Yeah.. You grew up.." he smiled "I remember when you were born, my little angel was born and gave our lives a meaning. I remember how small you were and.. Look at you now." his eyes got watery

"Aw, don't cry dad." she said kissing his right cheek "I'll go to pack" she smiled

"You need help?" he asked

She was actually going to use her wand, then she smiled
"I think I do."

He smiled getting up with her and his arm still on her shoulder, they walked together to her room to pack, he helped her with her stuff. Then she changed and walked downstairs putting on her coat, scarf, beanie and boots. She opened the door to leave

"Hermione wait!" she heard her mum calling her

"Yes mum?"

"Take this, it's for Ron and Harry. I know they love cookies. And tell them Merry Christmas." she smiled giving her a box of cookies.

"I will." she smiled back.

Her mum hugged her tight as she tried to hold her tears.
"Take care of yourself.." she said smiling and Hermione nodded

"Bye." she said taking her bags and walked away

"Enjoy! I love you." she heard her mum, she turned around to her and waved.

Hermione walked a bit, until she found an empty corner then she apparated to the Burrow. She walked to the door, she spotted George standing there giving her his back, she walked on her toes slowly to him. She wrapped her arms around him tightly and she felt him jumping.
He turned around to her

"Blimey girl! You got me." he laughed hugging her tight. She hugged him back "I miss you."

"I miss you too." she said smiling

"Accio." he said and her bags flew to his hand. "Come let's get you warm." he said placing hid hand over her shoulder.

"Hermione!" Molly said walking to her and hugging her

"Mrs Weasley." she smiled

"Hermione." Ginny smiled and hugged her.

"Where's the boys?" She asked.

"Oh they're still sleeping.. They partied hard last night." Ginny almost whispered the last line

"Oooohh.." Hermione said raising her eyebrows
"Well my mum baked them some cookies.."

"I'll eat them." George said taking the box from her hands and Hermione chuckled

Hermione walked upstairs with Ginny to her room, she took off her coat, scarf and beanie.
And sat on the bed

"You look really happy." Ginny smiled.

"I am. I was with my family and now I'm with the second one. Can't be happier." she smiled back

"Have you met a new guy?" Ginny gave her a look

"No.." Hermione shook her head

"Of course not.. I'll be the first one to know if you have."
