WAKE UP ANNA. WAKE UP-

Before it could scream Anna once again, I ran out of bed and switched it off. I couldn't really sleep last night as I was troubled by the thoughts of Harry coming over. Like, if he comes, where are we going to study? I couldn't possibly let him into my room, I mean, mom would murder me. The couch wasn't a nice place to write steadily and the dining table was just not my thing. Darn it, why did these things happen to me? Maybe I could ask mom. She always had answers.

I went downstairs and found mom reading a newspaper. Why wasn't she all over the place trying to make everything look right for the guest, I mean she was always like that.

"No work today?" I asked, walking towards her. She turned to me and smiled.

"No dear, I'm going late today."

"Why?"

She raised her eyebrow at me and then folded the paper neatly and said-

"You don't want me to be home when your 'friend' arrives" she asked, stressing on the word friend.

Okay, I knew where this was going. Mom was checking on me! I couldn't believe she did not trust me with a guy at home. This annoyed me a bit for some reason because a little part of me wished to remain alone, with him of course.

"Mom.." I said, realising there was no real use in arguing, "Where do we start our project?"

"Anywhere, honey"

"Like, I'm not taking him to my room-"

Her eyes widened at me and I changed my line as quickly as possible.

"...so I guess the dining table is the best place?"

She nodded and returned to reading the paper. I walked back up the stairs into my room and took a lovely shower using all my grape scented shampoo and soap.

I absolutely loved grapes!

By the time I walked out of my bathroom, it was already 10 am and I knew had to rush or I would surely be late. I put on dark blue jeans and a black tank top. I blow dried my hair which made me look like a puff ball but I did not have a choice their. Then I took the straightner from mom's room and smoothened it out into, what looked like, half curly and half straight. That was probably the best I could come up with, it wasn't messy now and I was pleased with it. I put my cherry lip balm and clipped my hair behind. I decided to do a little music theory until Harry came so I took my music books and went downstairs towards the dining room. Dropping my bio books to one side of the table, I opened my music notes in front of me. I was doing my grade five theory exam next month and I hadn't learned anything yet and honestly, it wasn't easy. Music, wasn't easy.

Just when I started flipping through the pages, the door bell rang. I jumped up a bit and my heart started punding against my chest. Honestly, I was freaking out. Mom was still sitting on the couch so I got up and walked towards the door. My palms were sweating now and I could feel the pressure building up on me. Yes, I was unnecessarily scared! Realising that there was no real use in being bummed out, I started regaining my confidence which led me to open the door with too much force which wasn't required. I could feel mom staring at me from my peripheral vision but that did not matter because for now, my eyes were only for him and him alone.

There he was- Harry Styles.

I could feel my heart beating faster and my cheeks heating up. His eyes were tearing me down and I couldn't help but stare at him.

He cleared his throat which made me come back to my senses. He smiled at me and I was pretty sure that my heart skipped a beat. Just as I was about to ask him to come in, mom entered the scene. Wasnt it embarrassing enough to stand gaping at him?
