Sasha's POV

I realized that I had fallen asleep, but what I woke up to was terrifying.

I opened my eyes and there Connor was, his eyes wide open. At first I smiled, but then I realized that he was staring at absolutely nothing. He was just staring off into space.

"Con?" I asked slowly. He just continued to lay there. I sat up and pulled him to sit up with me, trying to wake him. He sat up but continued to stare into space.

I started panicking and I was about to go get someone when he took a large gasp before breathing very heavily. He was incredibly scared as his chest was rising at an amazingly fast pace.

"Connor, calm down." I said grabbing his hand quickly. His eyes flashed to me before his eyes widened and his breathing became even more irregular. He started squeezing my hand, holding on to it for dear life.

"Connor, what's wrong? What can I do? How can I help you calm down?" I asked quickly, becoming more scared by the second.

"Don't... leave." He said in between gasps. "Don't.. move.. J-Just stay.. right there... Please.."

"I'm not going anywhere. I promise" I said, holding his hand with both of my own. He pulled me into a hug, gripping me tightly as his entire body shook mercilessly. His hands were shaking the worse.

He's having a panic attack. I think that's obvious by now. But why? What caused it?

He held me until his breathing became regular again. At first, he started to reluctantly release me, but I guess he decided he had other plans because he pulled me in front of him. He spread his legs and put me there, one of his hands stroking my hair, the other intertwined with mine. He rested his chin on top of my head and I smiled at how cute this position was.

"What happened?" I asked slowly. "I.. don't know. This is going to sound beyond weird, but I had a... vision of some sort."
I tilted my head back against his chest and slightly looked up at him. "What do you mean?"

"There was this girl.. I don't know who, but I know I loved her. I couldn't tell where we were, but it was just us. Apparently I had liked her for some time because I was.. expressing my feelings for her and it seemed like I had known her forever. Then.. I kissed her.. She kissed back, but there was this gigantic black figure that split us apart. I tried reaching for her, but no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't get to her. Then, the figure turned blue and there were little pictures of me and this girl dabbled out throughout the cloud-like figure. I reached out for those too, but it started moving."

"I sprinted out, running after this cloud with all I had for some reason. But it was too fast, and I lost it. I saw the girl again, so I ran to her.. But as soon as I went to pull her into my arms to hug her, she vanished. Then I immediately felt like I was falling. After that, everything went black and the vision ended... I have no idea what any of it means.."

I do. I know exactly what it means. The blue cloud is his memories. He ran after them because he needs them back, but he can't do it alone. The black figure was his mind, not allowing him to remember. The girl was me..

And because he can't catch his memories, I no longer have a place in them. I knew that already.. But it never hurt as much as it did now. That vision was so vivid and accurate.. It scares me..

"Woah, why are you crying?" I heard Connor say, shaking me from my thoughts. "What?" I said, lifting a hand to feel my face, and sure enough, it was stained with tears.

"I don't know." I lied.

"Tell me." He said quickly, seeing right through my lie.

When I didn't answer him he spun me around to where I was forced to look at him. He raised my chin with his forefinger, making my heart rate increase, before staring me directly in my eyes.

"Tell. Me." He said again sternly. "It's nothing.." I said quietly. He just stared into my eyes for a very long time. "I need to try something." were the only words he spoke.

"Okay?" I said slowly.

He slowly leaned in closer and closer until our noses were barely touching. His eyes kept flickering from my lips to my eyes, making my heart do backflips.

"Kiss me." He said simply. "I-I.." I started but he stopped me. "You have to kiss me, I can't kiss you. My plan won't work that way. I need to know that you want me." He said slowly, the last sentence coming out as a whisper as his left hand came up to caress my face.

And how was I supposed to say no to that?

I leaned in the smallest amount and my lips were finally combined with his. The kiss started out very slow, but after a while my hand was pulling gently at his hair, and he groaned. That sent shivers down my spine and the kiss immediately heated up.

We continued like that until we were both breathless, finally pulling away for air.

"Woah.." He breathed. "Woah is right.." I said quietly. His eyes widened again and he gasped.

"I remember!" He said quickly. "You remember what?" I asked, confused."

"Everything! The party, the fight, your burned hand, the doctor's office.. The kiss. Us.. I remember it all!" His eyes lit up.

My eyes widened at that. "Really?!"

"Yes! It worked! I can't believe it worked! I thought if we kissed again, it would bring it all back. I assumed the girl in my vision was you! I was right!" He exclaimed happily.

He then pulled me on top of him, making us both laugh. He kissed me again, his hand slowly massaging my head. When our lips parted he kept me there and held me as I hid my face in his neck, smiling my head off.

The whole time though I was worried. This seems too good to be true. That was to easy.. Am I just worrying to much? Or is there actually more to this?
