AJ knew what she said was harsh. She knew that better than anybody. But she managed to convince herself it was too late and instead told herself she'd apologize in the morning, after she woke up. Maybe she'd even make her some waffles to butter her up. Although she wasn't the one who should've been apologizing, she still felt guilty about what she said.

So the next morning, when she woke up, she begrudgingly rolled out of bed. Half asleep and half awake, she treaded to her bathroom and splashed her face with water to wake herself up. After brushing her teeth, she threw on an old t-shirt with some sweats and pulled her wild curls back into a ponytail.

After she was finished, she walked out of her bedroom and into the hallway. The house was quiet, and she hoped it was just because Parker was still asleep. If she already left, she wouldn't get a chance to apologize until they both came home from school. Since Parker was a junior and AJ was a senior, they didn't see each other much throughout the day.

When she walked into the living room, there was no way she could have been prepared for what she saw.

Instead of the old and worn out navy blue sofa, there was an ivory leather couch in its place. Where the stained wooden coffee table would usually be, a glass one that looked like it in itself could've payed her college tuition was in its place. Instead of the plain grey carpet, there was a plush rug to match the couch that was so soft she could've lied down to take a nap was there. The entire wall across from the couch was a black shelf, multiple pictures in the small frames and a giant flat screen tv in the larger one.

Everything was different.

She was frozen in place, staring in shock at her new living room. She wasn't robbed, nobody would steal somebody's belongings and replace them with more expensive items, right?

Is this a prank? Is Parker trying to get back at me? If so, she should know that this isn't funny.

But... how would she have managed to do this if it was a prank? Overnight nonetheless?

"Parker!" she yelled out, walking to the other side of the house to her sisters bedroom. The framed pictures that were usually on the wall in the hallway of her room weren't there, and she glared at the blankness of the, in confusion. What the hell is going on?

AJ huffed in frustration and knocked twice before walking in. Her eyes widened, her jaw went completely slack and her eyebrows furred together. She stepped back in shock as if she'd just gotten slapped in the face, a hundred emotions hitting her at once

The room was empty.

And she didn't mean the room was empty because Parker wasn't in there. No, no, the room was literally empty.

Parker's baby blue walls were now white, her dresser and bed were long gone, her blue and white striped drapes over her windows were gone, along with the clothes that usually substituted as a carpet for her. Her closet that was usually overflowed with clothes was empty, her walls were bare; it was like she had never even been here.

Like she was never even.. born.

AJ's eyebrows furred together even more when the thought crossed her mind.

But that's not possible right? Things like that don't happen. But it would make sense as to everything was so much different. But it was a stupid wish, it didn't even mean anything! Someon
