School was..interesting.

Nothing had really changed, other than the fact that Parker wasn't there. AJ couldn't stop thinking about it. Her heart ached every time she thought about her, there was no denying how much she missed her annoying and unbearable little sister. But thankfully, Angelo's words later on that day put her at ease.

As if not having her sister there at school with her wasn't enough, people who she had no idea we're had approached and tried to talk to her. She had quickly dodged them, giving some lame excuse that she was late to class. Which was a mistake on her part since it was lunch period. But still, they backed off, thankfully.

During lunch, she had texted Gio and asked what he was up to, to which he responded "Aren't you supposed to be learning right now?" She scoffed at his hypocritical comment, and replied.

She had found out sometime that morning that Giovanni had already graduated earlier that year. When she was putting the photo album away she had came across a picture of them, him dressed in a royal blue cap and gown. His arm was around AJ, his other up in the air in a fist and wide grins on both of their faces. It wasn't a surprise, really, more like a relief. She had kept trying to figure out how someone her age looked that good. But he was months older, almost a year, so that was some sort of consolation.

After that she turned her phone off and continued eating her lunch in peace.

She'd decided to buy her lunch and go eat in the library, sitting towards the back while watching episodes of Parks and Rec on Netflix on her laptop. She almost praised Hallelujah when she found her headphones she thought she left at home. It was the perfect lunch period if you asked her.

The only other part of that school day that was remotely interesting was when Angelo had been waiting for her when she'd left the bathroom stall. Of all the places. The bathroom stall. Not in the empty hallway when she was running late to French, not when she was the first one to the gym locker room and it was empty; nope, of all the times it had to be when she was literally just finished peeing.
