AJ groaned in anger when she felt someone shaking her leg. She lay there with her eyes closed, body sprawled out on her cotton sheets and wondered if she acted like she didn't hear them, would they go away? Her question was answered when the person shook her leg again, this time harder. She kicked her leg at the stranger and rolled over, pressing her body as close to the wall and away from them as she could go.
"Aurora, wake up." the person said. It registered in her mind that the voice belonged to a male, and the only people in the house were her and Kennedy. She slowly turned her head and opened one eyelid, rolling it when she saw Gio standing at the edge of her bed with his arms crossed.
"How the hell did you even get in my house?" she asked him.
"That would be my fault." Kennedy said, walking into her room with a glass of water and two pills in her palm. "Here you go."
Aurora wasted no time in swallowing down the pills and the cold water, thanking Kennedy once the glass was empty. She took the glass and nodded her head, going back downstairs, leaving her and Gio alone.
"What the hell did you guys do last night?"
The better question is why the fuck are you talking so loud?
"We went to Pacha." she said groggily, rubbing the sleep, and probably makeup, off her eye. When AJ said this, all of the memories from last night hit her like a brick. Her eyes widened and her hand flew to her mouth.
"How did you even get in?" Gio asked. He knew they were supposed to go together, but he figured they had their whole lives to go clubbing with each other. Plus, she was spending time with her cousin, who was he to interfere?
"Oh my god. Gio, I fucked up." she panicked. His eyebrows furred together in confusion, asking himself what the hell she was talking about. He watched as she flipped the covers off her and stood up, beginning to pace around her bedroom.
He froze for a moment, his eyes scanning over her body. She was still dressed in the two piece from last night, the top and skirt clinging to her body so nicely that he had to wonder how the hell she had managed to sleep in it.
He cleared his throat and blinked his eyes away from her body.
"What do you mean you fucked up? What happened?" he asked.
"I kissed someone. Oh my god, I was drunk and I kissed someone, Gio!" she whined, pulling at the roots of her hair. Which anybody could tell you would not help with a hangover.
The room fell silent for a moment, Gio waiting for AJ to continue. When she didn't, his eyebrows rose.
"That's it?"
"What the hell do you mean, "That's it?"? Yes that's it, you dumbass! I got so drunk last night that I kissed a girl and almost went home with her!" she yelled.
Gio nearly fell over in shock.
"Hold up, wait this all happened with a girl? You're joking, right?"
"Do I look like I'm fucking joking, Gio?" She threw her hands up in frustration and glared at him, her hands balled into fists by her sides.
"No. But that's kinda hot, if you ask me." Gio mumbled, just loud enough for AJ to hear.
"I didn't ask. My god, you are no help."
Gio laughed and plopped down on her grey beanbag, pulling her laptop onto his lap. He powered it up and put the password in.
"I'm just saying. As much as I don't like Weasel, he probably wont even be all that mad. You were drunk, you weren't fully in control of your actions and its not like the kiss meant anything." He continued scrolling on her laptop until a thought popped into his head, making him pause and look up at her. "But this is also a ticket to break up with him, which is also a good idea." he explained casually, shrugging his shoulders.
