Chapter 1

Jess' POV

Hi my names Jessica but people call me Jess, Jessy, Jesus and some other random names. I'm 17 years old. I'm absolutely in love with horses. Although I have never owned one before, but I've leased a couple and they were night mare horses to look after!! I live in Whangeri along with my three best friends Tiana, Hannah and Ashley. I've known them since I was about 5 maybe younger. Everyday we go to each other's houses and just do well horse stuff. We clean tack, we look on buy and sell at horses and everything else that's horsey that you can think of.

Not all of us had horses though. Tiana was currently leasing one, his name was Peter. But sadly the lease contract was almost up :(. Tiana was the only one that had a horse or was leasing one, Ashley Hannah and I were looking on buy and sell 24/7 but so far we had no luck. But hopefully we would get one soon. Then we could go riding together, competing together and much more. It was quite interesting because although we all loved horses, we all enjoyed a different discipline. Ashley enjoyed Show Jumping. Tiana enjoyed Show Hunter and the odd Show Jumping round. Hannah enjoyed Dressage. While I enjoyed Eventing and the odd CTR (competitive trail ride).

One day after school we were at Tiana's house, looking on buy and sell, and her mum walks in and says "girls you got a letter" (we get all our mail sent to each others house). We all then jump up off the floor of Tianas room and go over to her mum. She hands us each a letter, and we all immediately squeal with excitement! We've just got a letter from one of the most prestigious horse boarding schools in the country! Castle Hill Stables! Castle Hill Stables is all the way in Dunedin, so we were quite lucky if we were to get accepted. So we all quickly open our letters and flick through them! OMG!! I can't believe it....
