Chapter Fifteen

"Thank you!" I said to her.

"Just keep taking your pills that should help with you sickness." Sam said as we left.

I hugged her one more time and we left. What are they guys going to say?

112 days before

*Hayes*

It's about 3am and the guys won't open the door.

Abby and I are stuck out side in the rain. Me being me I left the keys in Cams truck then locked it. Both our phones are dead too so that really helps.

I look at Abby who is sitting on the floor drenched. I laughed cuz she looks like a cat that is angry cuz someone poured water on it.

"What?" She said.

I sat down beside her and rapped my arm around her.

"Your beautiful." I said

"I have no hair" she frowned

"So. You didn't change on the inside did you." I said and she smiled as she leaned her head on my shoulder.

We were interpreted by a whale sounding noise coming from the kitchen.

*Abby*

"Let's go!" Hayes gets up and walks to the kitchen window.

We look in to see Matt with head phones in dancing in front of the fridge.

"HELP HELP!" We both yell waving our arms in the air like idiots.

Matt continues dancing.

We start to hit the window and Matt walks out of the room.

Hayes sighs and giggles.

We both slide our backs down the window and he pulls me into his arms.

I cuddle into his chest and drift to sleep in his arms as the rain trickles down my face.

*a few hours later*

I woke up to the sound of Hayes snoring.

I slowly got out of his grip.

It was morning. I was surprised no one was out side yet.

I got up and walked around to the backyard and saw Nash napping in the sun.

I laughed to my self. That boy loves being out side in the sun.

I walked closer to see he wasn't alone.

"Abby!!!!!" A girl about Nash's age wearing barely anything.

She came up to me and hugged me. I didn't hug back.

"And you are...?" I said

Nash comes up from behind her.

" This is Hailey " he smiles. "She'll be hanging with us." He says and she smiles at him.

"Ok....." I wander off with my words.

"Hey were did you and Hayes go and why do you look like a wet cat?" Nash said.

"Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...we went to that all hour Walmart because I have never been." I said laughing internally "Hayes being Hayes when we got home Hayes locked the car keys in Cams truck and our phones were dead and Matt was dancing in the kitchen and Hayes was laughing." I spat out and ran off towards Hayes.

"Can we go inside?" I asked him.

"Sure." He said "who's her?" He said looking back at Hailey.

I felt a pain in my chest. Was I jealous?

"Um Nash's friend Hailey." I said pushing the door open causing a draft making me cold. I shivered, but Hayes just walked by and up to our room.

I walked behind him. Right when he opened the door he turned around a shut it in my face.

"Okay?" I whispered under my breath.

After about ten minutes he came out and ignored me sitting on the floor beside the door.

I ran into the room and slammed the door.

Tears started to fill my eyes.

I looked in the mirror and took off my hood. I looked at my head. I knew he didn't like it. I knew this would change a lot. Now he's ignoring me.

I try to take my mind off of everything and look out the window.

Our window looks out to see the pool and hot tube area.

Where I see Hailey sitting in Hayes' lap in the hot tub.

My tears come down harder.

I hear someone open the door and I scramble to put my hood back on.

Cameron walks into the room.

"Hey Abby!" He says and sits on the bed

"Knock much?" I joke

"Were you okay last night?" He asks

I nod and walk into the washroom with clean clothes.

"One sec." I say and close the door.

I change into black ripped jeans and my black All Time Low t-shirt. (If you know them I'll love you forever!) I put my wet clothes in the hamper. I put on eyeliner, mascara, and some nude lip stick. I put on my black converse and start to talk to Cameron through the door.

"Cam?" I said

"Ya?" He answered.

"I need to show you something." I say ready to tell Cameron about my hair.

I feel self-conscious. I take a deep breath as Cameron walks threw the door.

"Abby? Why is you head shaved?" He asked.

We sat down on the floor of the bathroom and I told him about last night and about Hailey and Hayes.

"Abby your beautiful. I know you are. Who cares if Hayes doesn't. He's just a boy. There are so many out there Abby don't worry." He pulled me close to him.

I feel like Cameron's a brother to me. I truly love him.

We get up and walk out to Hayes and I's room. I go to my bag and look through my things. I finally find what I'm looking for.

When I was younger I use to always want to die my hair so Sam bought me wigs instead. I don't know why but just I case I brought my 4 favourites. I just had a feeling I would need them.

I have a long brown haired wig like my old hair, a wavy blonde haired wig, a short haired bleach pink, and my long black haired wig.

I take out the black haired wig and put it on.

"Your beautiful. Now let's go show everyone!" Cam said

"Cam wait. I don't want everyone to know yet." I said and he nodded.
We walked down stairs and towards the pool. Everyone was out there now.

They all greet us and Hayes doesn't make eye contact with me.

Fine be that way I say to my self and sit down beside Cam and Matt.

I smile. Two can play at this game.
