Sorry about last week. As I was on holiday, I planned to update but I couldn't update as much as I had limited Internet.

But this gave me time to edit a lot more, if you haven't noticed. Today I uploaded more edited versions of 12 of these chapters, which is a lot for me. Lol

Chapter 38

My eyes opened to the blazing sun seeping through the cream curtains. I opened my eyes and a wide smile regained its position as the memories of yesterday flooded back.

(Flashback begins)

Just as I needed him, he came via facetime and stayed with me all night, like he always did. I closed my eyes as I relived the hours we spent so close yet so far from eachother

Without a doubt I pressed accept. It felt impulsive, I couldn't say no.

'Someone missing me?' Jai said patronisingly

'Well It definitely aint me boi' I said playfully 'If I was, I wouldn't be thinking about you'

'Are you thinking about me?' He asked promptly

'Well....Yes.' I replied admitting

He began to chuckle, ' I knew it'

'How do you always appear when I miss you the most'

'So you are missing me?'

'And how are you so clever with mind games'

'Well cuz I'm amazing babe'

'Yeah, In your own world you are'

He gave a playful grin and I blew him a kiss.

(Flashback ends)

Suddenly I heard a beeping sound. And within an instant I was returned to reality. I looked around to see my phone flashing. I picked my phone up and suddenly I saw it was Jenna. I immediately picked up

'Hey Jenn-'

'Where have you been?! I been calling you for the past hour!' She seemed concerned.

I began to answer. 'Sorry Jenna, I mus-'

Jenna cut me off and continued. 'Ari, Its fine please be at the waters towers building in 40 minutes. Upper management want to see you immediately'

'That's fine' I began 'what is it about?'

'I don't know, but please hurry there, I will meet you at the main entrance. I have sent a taxi which should be there in 20 minutes okay?' Jenna said quickly

'Okay cya in 40' I said

'39 minutes Ariana!' Jenna said impatiently.

'Hah cya' I laughed as I ended the call.
