"Of course you're still the team captain. You got your grades up just like Coach told you to, right?" Stiles said 

"Yeah, but he never told me I was back on the team. He just told me to show up at tryouts today." Scott said worried

Yeah so after the whole "Peters bail bonds heist" thing we bailed cause honestly it's his karma. So now where here on the lacrosse field for the boys to tryout and Scott's worried that he wont be team captain anymore. I'm glad he still worries about his human life and dosen't push everything aside for the supernatural.

"We got bigger things to deal with anyway. Did you tell Argent yet?" Stiles asked 

"ah I texted him but he didn't get back to me." 

"You told him his sister Kate came back from the dead over a text?" I said looking at him like he was stupid

"I didn't have the money to call France" he said

"Yeah, you think you got money problems? Try paying for an MRI and a visit to Eichen House" Stiles said looking a little stressed about it 

"Another notice?"

"Yeah, this one said, "Final."" Stiles breathed dazing off 

I looked over to the field and saw the team some of them practicing. I saw this one boy in piticular catching every single ball that came his way.

 "Now, what the hell are we even doing here anyway? We got like a 117 million problems and worrying about our status on the lacrosse team is not one of them." Stiles said changing the subject

"It is now." I said looking at the boy

Stiles and Scott followed my gaze until they saw him

Stiles looked at us then back at the boy 

"Who the hell is that?" 

After he said that the mystery boy took his helmet off and my breath caught in my throat. It was the boy who I bumped into the other day, the one who came to talk to me while I was waiting for Stiles.

"Nice, Liam, You might just be our first ever freshman captain" another boy on the team said 

ah so Liams his name

"Okay, maybe we should just practice a little bit" Stiles said and they both took off running

I was waiting outside for Liam so I could talk to him. all the other boys left so he should be out soon. As i got closer to the door I heard Faintly heard a voice that I recognized to be Stiles.

"Okay, how'd you get this good? Have you always been this good?Or did it suddenly happen just once over night. Have you ever been out in the middle of the woods during the night of a full..." I smacked my forehead

"Stiles" Scott stopped him before he could say anymore

"Hmm. Look, I learned from my stepfather, all right? He made team captain when he was a sophomore. Like you. And yeah..." he paused and I heard rustling 

"I guess I'm just that good." He finished

"He wasn't lying that time." I heard Scott say just before Liam came out of the locker room smirking

"Hey" I said walking up to him

"Hey, what are you doing here" he asked me

"uh would you think I was creepy if I said I was was waiting for you" I asked sheepishly
