I felt Riley cuddled in my side when I woke. I smiled down at her. I gently pushed her brown hair out of her face. Brown hair. Definitely not blonde hair. I let out a quiet sigh. I need to never think of her again. She's gone, she left and never came back. No need to feel sad over it. I got out of the bed and walked to the kitchen.

"Morning." I jumped hearing Farkle in my home. "Why are you here?" I asked annoyed. He shrugged. "Why up so early?" He asks back. I shrugged too. "What do you think the surprise is?" He asks. I look over at him. "No clue. She seems real excited though." I continue doing my daily routine. "I think it's because she wants to marry me." He says. I let out a chuckle, then continue making coffee. "I doubt it. She wants me and me only. That's the way I like it." I turn to look at Farkle. "Eh you never know." He smirks. I roll my eyes. He's 24 and still a flirt.

"Coffee?" I offer. He shakes his head. "No I like to start my mornings right." I watch as he walks to the cabinet and pull out a bottle. "Wine?" He shrugs. "It's a nice taste. Why not." I turn my back while shaking my head. Wine in the morning. Weird. Sipping my coffee I hear footsteps. "Morning honey." Riley leans on my shoulder. "Morning." I reply giving her a peck on the lips. Farkle walks over to us cup in hand. "So? What's the surprise?" He questions. Riley shakes her head. "Not telling." I shrug. Farkle drinks a bit of his cup. "You should tell us." Riley rolls her eyes and make herself a cup.

"We head over to my parents for dinner tonight." She reminds me. I smile. "Alright. It'll be fun and this time your dad won't try to me hit, hopefully." Farkle laughed. I glare at him for it. "I'm sorry that was funny. He was pissed." I end up laughing a bit too remembering. "Yeah it was insane." Riley glares at us both. I know she's was embarrassed about it still. "Yup that's when the surprise is happening. You'll be shocked to see he- I mean see it." I look at her odd. "Her?" I ask. Farkle noticed her mess up too. "I assume we're meeting a person. Maybe an old friend now?" Riley nods. "Cool can't wait."

I buttoned up my shirt as I listened to Riley. "Can you believe Jane poured glue on Max?" I looked over at her with eyes slightly widen. "Uh unbelievable." I stutter out. Riley smiles knowing I was partly listening. She was a teacher now. "Okay we leave in ten minutes." She says walking out the room. I fix my outfit before putting on a jacket. Seeing as it's mid December it's more big and warm.

"Riley!" She turns around to look at me. "Yes?" I lean down and kiss her. She kisses back before lightly pushing me away. "Not now Lucas. We have to leave." I smile wrapping my arms around her. "Can't we be a little late?" She shakes her head. "No Lucas now come on. We'll be late if we don't leave now." I frown but follow her to the car.

As we drive over it quiet except for the radio on low. We soon pull up and started heading up. "Lucas I'm so excited to show you guys. You'll love it." I smiled at how excited she was. Which only left me wondering who we were seeing again.

"Hello Mr. And Mrs. Matthews." They both smile at me and Riley. "Lucas!" Auggie gives me a bro hug. "Come sit by me." I laugh a bit at his excitement. "You excited to see the surprise?" I ask him. He nods. Riley then sits by me. Farkle walks in and sits by Riley.

"Okay guys dinner is chicken nuggets." Topanga tells us. "Nice." We all start filling our plates when the door opens.

"Ava!" Auggie walks over to her. Everyone laughed a bit. Ava sat next to Auggie. They started talking and soon everyone was chatting while eating. Things felt great. Life felt great. I smiled at Riley and held her hand. Gently gliding over the ring. I didn't need anybody else. I was happy.

But then that door opened again.
