The smell of scented vanilla circulates the room. I twitch my fingers and open my eyes slowly. I was home, on my couch. There was a candle on the table alongside a glass of water. I immediately sat up. How did I get here? Damn, my head was still throbbing.

"Ouch." I moan, grabbing the back of my head.

"Stay still." A voice came out from behind. I turn to see Taehyung coming out of my kitchen with a damp towel in his hands. My kitchen. After peeling off the layer of clothes, all he is wearing is a pair of casual torn jeans and a plain white tee.

He kneels down on the floor in front of me and dabs my forehead gently with the cloth. I watch his focus eyes while his eyebrows furrowed.

"Y-yah. I can do it myself." I snatch the towel and wipe the sweat off my neck. He scoffs and turns his back on me.

The silence is uncomforting. "Did you carry me home?" I ask.

He nods.

"Really? Aish, how did I faint again." I smack my forehead. The back of my head was still throbbing and I let out a hiss.

"You're still hurt?" He turns around and looks at me worried. Igiboya? This is a new side of Taehyung.

He groans before handing me two pills and the glass of water from the table. I swallow the bitter medicine with the gush of warm water. He takes the glass from me and continues cleaning the mess on the table. I can't let him do all the work, that's just...weird. I stand up and stable myself which he reacts to immediately, holding my shoulder.

"Ya, you're so weak right now. Just stay still!"

"I'm fine," I say almost too harshly, "I just need to go inside my room for a while." I manage to utter while pushing his hands off my shoulder gently. I walk pass him and drag my feet into my room. I glance at the wall clock: It was 2:49 AM in the morning. I was surprised Taehyung could still stay in my house this long. I need to get him out before anything bad happens.

I walk out of my room only to see Taehyung holding a photo frame of Yerin unnie. His eyes is so locked on the photo as if he was searching for answers in the tiniest details. Hokshi...

"Do you know her?" I ask, surprising him. He immediately puts the photo frame down and clasp both his hands together.

"Ah ani. She reminds me of someone. Is she...your sister?"

I nod. "She is." I reply, my words sounding hollow.

"Ah. I don't see her around." Taehyung ask, his words coming out from his mouth slowly.

I didn't reply. I couldn't even nod my head. Instead, I turn my gaze towards the ground. No one knew about my sister. No one knew about how she died. No one.

"She left." I manage to say. Yes, of course she left. Unnie left you for a better place. You should be happy. Maybe it's because I just don't know what happy feels like anymore.

When I turn my eyes back to Taehyung, he was staring at me. Deliberately. His hands were tucked into his pocket and eyes locked into mine. He takes 1..2...3 steps towards me.

"Yujin-ah, let's try." he says softly.

"Ne?"

"You and me," he flashes a cheeky smile before completing his sentence, "let's date."
