Moving Out

Kelsey's POV:

"Bring the last boxes to the truck!" A mover called into the house.

I ran to Justin's room and grabbed three boxes sitting on his bed. I stacked them on top of each other and started walking down the stairs.

On the bottom step, I slipped and dropped the boxes as they came crashing to the floor.

Thankfully, Mom had made Justin wrap everything in bubble wrap, in case a klutz like me just happened to be in possession of his belongings.

I picked them up and noticed a glare peaking out of a box with a ripped top.

I pulled off the top, curious to find what was in it and saw a big box full of pictures of Justin and I.

There were ones from when I was born and he was holding me, ones from when I was 4 and he was 9 and we were playing in the plastic pool at Grandma's house.

I saw ones of me at Justin's concerts, at meet and greets with him, and of random times on tour.

When I shuffled the frames around, I saw a picture I didn't even know Justin still had. It was of when I was around 10 or 11 and Justin was 16. It was the day before he and mom flew to meet Scooter and start his career.

I was giving him a kiss on the cheek, and my eyes were closed. So were Justin's. He is smiling and my arms are wrapped around his neck.

I smiled as a small tear rolled down my cheek.

"Kelsey, they're leaving." Mom says, coming into the house. "Are you coming outside or not?"

I nod and mom comes over to pick up the boxes I dropped.

She sees the picture frame and smiles. "I'll never forget that day."

"Me neither." I say.

She kisses me on the cheek and rushes upstairs to get the last of the boxes.

I pick up my 3, and run out to the U-Haul to see Justin and Selena.

I place the boxes in the back of the truck and run into Justin's open arms.

He wraps him arms around me and whispers, "I love you, Kelsey."

"I love you too." I say.

He hugs me tighter and says, "I'll miss you."

"Come and visit." I remind him.

"Won't forget too." Justin says.

"What about me?" Selena asks, jokingly.

"I'll miss you too!" I say, hugging her.

"I'll miss you most!" She says.

I laugh as Mom comes and puts the last of the boxes in the truck.

"Okay, Justin. Better get on the road before its too late." Mom says.

He nods and hugs her.

Mom hugs back and says, "I love you, baby."

"I love you more, Mommy!" He says.

She kisses him on the cheek and they run to the car.

Justin climbs in the drivers seat of his car and Selena hops into the passenger's.

"Bye Pattie!" Selena calls before closing the door.

"Bye!" Mom says.

They pull out of the drive way and the movers driving the U-Haul follow after them.

That's it.

They're officially gone.
