Cafe Allegro

Kelsey's POV:

I walked into Cafe Allegro at about eleven forty five. I had changed out of my earlier outfit, into a black dress and white accessories. I had curled my hair and twisted some of it to the side.

"Kelsey?" Cody asks.

"Oh, hi!" I say, sitting down at the table Cody had been reserving.

He handed me a menu and I skimmed across the options- pasta, pasta and more pasta.

"So." He says.

"So." I repeat.

"About yesterday-" Cody says, but I cut him off.

"Look Cody. I still have feelings for you, and I know you still like me too. I think we should give us another shot." I say.

Cody looks blown away.

"Are you serious?" Cody asks in disbelief.

"Dead serious." I say.

"Kelsey!" Cody says. "I am so glad you said that! I know I have already told you, but cheating on you was the biggest mistake I ever made."

"I've heard it, but it doesn't get old." I tell him, winking.

"Well in that case, you'll be hearing it a lot more often." Cody says.

"Can't wait." I say.

We sit in silence, skimming over the menu. A waiter comes back to our table with drinks in hand. She sets a Coke in front of Cody and a pink lemonade in front of me.

"I hope that's what you wanted." Cody says. "I know that used to be your favorite drink."

"It still is." I say.

He smiles.

The waitress by the name of Collina pulls out a pen and paper and asks us for our order.

"I'll take the pasta-penne with meat sauce and meatballs." Cody says.

"I'll take the noodles with marinara sauce and parmesan cheese." I say.

"They will be right out." Collina says with a scowl, picking up our menus and walking to the kitchen.

"Well she's pleasant." Cody says.

I giggle.

"So when do I get to ask when I can call you mine again?" Cody asks.

"I don't know." I say. "But it's worth a shot to try and ask."

Cody takes the hint, clearing his throat and stroking his hair.

"Charming." I say sarcastically.

"Kelsey Anne Hayden," Cody begins. "I fell in love with you from the moment I laid my eyes on you. You are beautiful, funny, nice, sweet and caring. I missed you the time we were apart. Kelsey, will you be my girlfriend?"

"Yes." I say.

He smiles and kisses my lips.

I pull away and ask, "Just to be clear, there is no Madison in this picture?"

"No one but you babe." He says.

I smile. Cody kisses the top of my nose then realizes we're in public.

"I'll save them for later." He says.

I nod.

I pull out my phone and see that Cody has done the same thing. I open the twitter app and start typing.

@KelseyHayden: At Cafe Allegro with @CodySimpson . Anyone else up for pasta!? Btw, take my name off of the single market!

@CodySimpson: @KelseyHayden is my new girl. :) Boys stay away from her, she is mine forever. <3

I am going on a camping trip tomorrow through Friday. I won't be able to update so just wanted to let you know.

2 questions: 1) Do you believe that Cody will actually not cheat on Kelsey? 2) What kind of things would you like to see happen in the next couple of chapters?
