*Week Later*

Kelsey's POV:

"Hello?" I ask as I pick up the phone.

"Kelsey?" Justin asks.

"Justin?" I reply.

"It's me." He says.

"Why are you calling?" I ask.

"Do I need a reason?" He questions.

"No, it's just that you haven't called in a while." I answer.

"Okay, well, is Mom home?"

"No, but I can leave her a message."

"I was just wondering if you guys would want to come down and visit soon?" He asks.

"Sure! I'll talk to Mom and we can work something out." I assure him.

"Okay."

"Yeah."

"Love you, Kells."

"Love you too."

"Gotta go. Bye." He says.

"Bye! Text me!" I answer.

"'Kay." He says, and the line clicks.

I walk down the stairs if the house. Mom was out on a date with a new guy she met on EHarmony.

I reach into the cupboard and pull out a box of Cheerios. Pouring them into a bowl, I take a picture and post it onto Twitter.

I eat my cereal then my phone starts to ring. Without checking the caller ID, I answer it.

"Hello?" I ask.

"Kelsey?" Cody asks from the other line.

"Oh, hi." I say.

"What's up?" He asks.

"Eating cereal, then gonna wait 'till my mom gets home so she can take me to the studio." I reply. "You?"

"Sitting on the balcony in Australia."

"Lucky! Want to trade schedules for the day?" I joke.

"I wish you were here, but I know you're busy. We still have to plan a trip though." He reminds me.

"I know, I know." I say.

He laughs and then I see Mom's car pull up to the driveway.

"Can I call you back later?" I ask.

"Sure. Love you."

"Love you too."

I know, I know, I know this was a boring chapter. But I felt like you guys deserved an update. :) There will be about 20-25 chapters left and then an epilogue.

That will be it.
