reason to be happy

"But Yoongi!" Grandma protested. Before she could finish her sentence, Yoongi cut in, "Grandma, Jimin is used to that room. Changing his environment so abruptly will only cause him more stress and discomfort."

His reasoning seemed valid to everyone, so no one pushed the matter further. Jimin, however, muttered to himself, "Look at him, pinning the blame on me! He could have just admitted that he didn't want to leave his fancy suit."

Seeing that the matter was settled, Grandma looked at Jimin. "Alright, now go upstairs and rest properly. And stay away from Tae as much as possible, or you two will lose track of time and start jumping around like kids."

Tae made a face and complained, "Grandma, why do you always think I’m the troublemaker? Jimin is the one who starts everything!"

Grandma scolded him playfully, "Be quiet! I know exactly how 'innocent' you are."

Jimin was laughing internally at Tae’s plight but kept a straight face.

Grandma added, "Jimin, rest well. And from now on, don't even think about coming down those stairs alone."

"Yes, Grandma," Jimin said, heading upstairs with Yoongi.

Back in their room,

Jimin sat on the edge of the bed, reflecting on how his life had taken such a massive turn. A new chapter was beginning.

Months ago, he couldn't have even dreamed of a life like this—a loving family and a husband who adored him. Now, a new guest was on the way to show him a whole new side of life.

Yoongi walked over, gently lifted Jimin in his arms, and tucked him into bed. "Sleep for a while. Don't overthink things."

Jimin grabbed Yoongi’s hand, pulling him down to lie beside him. He hugged him tightly and asked, "Are you happy...?"

"Are you?" Yoongi countered with a question.

"Very," Jimin whispered.

"Then I am very happy too," Yoongi replied. His happiness was always tied to Jimin’s, but he was also genuinely moved by the thought that a symbol of their love was coming into this world.

It was around 2:00 PM when they fell asleep. Meanwhile, Tae was in his room telling Jungkook everything. Jungkook was thrilled. Even though the two had been bickering recently, Tae was so excited that he forgot he was supposed to be mad at him.

They usually fought one day and forgot about it the next.

Once, they had fought so hard that Jungkook drove off and didn't return until late at night. When they finally made up, Jungkook admitted he had driven to the Yamuna Expressway, parked on the side, and slept in his car all night—which, of course, led to another argument.

After hanging up, Tae wanted to go see Jimin, but knowing Yoongi was there, he decided to visit Jin instead. He found Jin sitting quietly on his bed.

"Dii... why are you sitting here all alone?" Tae asked.

Jin snapped out of his thoughts. "I was just thinking... when did you come in?"

"Just now. Hey, tell me, you’re happy about Jimin’s news, right?" Tae asked tentatively. He didn't want Jin to feel sensitive about his own pregnancy journey.

Jin smiled warmly, sensing Tae’s concern. "Tae, I am beyond happy! Honestly, it feels like a double blessing. Since I'm months along and Jimin is also expecting, our kids will grow up together. I’m going to shower both of them with so much love."

Jin became a bit emotional, and Tae hugged him. "You’re the best, dii."
"I was thinking," Jin said, "Why don't we look at some cute toys and baby products?"

"Great idea!" Tae agreed. "But let's not tell Jimin yet, or he'll insist on coming shopping with us. You know Grandma and Hyung won't let him go anywhere without a massive security detail right now."

Jin nodded. They both knew Yoongi was about to become ten times more protective.

Around 5:00 PM,

Yoongi woke up and watched Jimin sleeping. He looked at him with eyes full of love, kissed his forehead, and gently placed a hand on Jimin's stomach. This feeling was new and precious to him. He leaned down, kissed Jimin's stomach softly, and got up, trying not to wake him.

When Yoongi returned from the bathroom, he saw Jimin was awake. "You're up?"

"You got up, so my sleep broke too," Jimin grumbled.

"How is that my fault?" Yoongi teased.

"I was quiet. You could have slept more."

"Yoongi, you know I have a habit of holding onto you while sleeping. When you left, I woke up," Jimin said irritably.

Yoongi didn't argue. He knew Jimin’s mood swings were starting. "Alright, alright. Freshen up, and I'll order some food." He caressed Jimin's cheek affectionately.

Jimin bolted out of bed, mak
ing Yoongi shouts in a stern voice, "Walk slowly!"

Jimin froze, realizing his mistake. "Right... I forgot. Please tell them to hurry, I'm starving!"

Yoongi laughed and called the kitchen. When the food arrived—a spread across the coffee table—Jimin sat down and started eating rapidly.

"Eat slowly, Jimin," Yoongi cautioned.

"I'm too hungry to be slow!" Jimin said with his mouth full.

Yoongi sighed, took the plate from him, and said, "Let me feed you."
Yoongi started feeding him very slowly and carefully.

After a few bites, Jimin got annoyed. "Yoongi! I'm hungry and you're feeding me like I'm a porcelain doll! Forget it, I don't want to eat anymore!"

Yoongi realized this was the mood swings talking. He set the plate down, and as Jimin tried to get up from the sofa, Yoongi pulled him into his lap. "Relax, sweetheart. It’s just the pregnancy making you irritable. You’re hungry, right? Please eat."

Yoongi’s sweet, low voice melted Jimin’s anger instantly. Once Jimin calmed down, Yoongi finished feeding him.

Later, the family gathered in the hall. Happiness was written on everyone's face. Grandma said to Jia, "Make sure to ward off the 'evil eye' from Jimin. Who knows who might have cast a glance at the child today?"

"I'll do it, Mom," Jia promised.

Tae saw Jimin coming downstairs with Yoongi. "Look, here comes your favorite 'child'!"

Jimin sat next to Tae while Yoongi headed out for some work. "Where is Hyung going?" Tae whispered.

"No idea, he just said he has some work," Jimin replied.

Jia approached Jimin to perform the 'nazar utarna' (warding off the evil eye). Jimin looked confused. "Auntie, is this really necessary?"

"Yes, dear," Jia explained. "People say that in times of great joy, even a well-intended comment can sometimes act as a jinx. It doesn't hurt anyone, and it gives us peace of mind."

Jimin nodded and then noticed Tae staring at him. "Why have you been gawking at me this morning?"

Tae whispered, "Remember how you reacted when I told you to make me an Uncle soon? What happened to all that 'I'm just a kid' talk?"

"Sometimes things are unexpected! What can I do?" Jimin shot back.

"Oh, unexpected? You were the one acting so high and mighty," Tae teased.

Jimin glared at him. "Don't talk nonsense. It's not my fault. You wanted to be an Uncle, right? Well, now you are, so just be happy and shut up!"

Soo how was the double pregnancy thing...😜...
