Your POV:

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING [Y/N]?" A familiar voice called out knocking the razor out of your hand onto the floor.

Looking up in shock you see Tate there with anger and sadness in his eyes causing you to cry harder. It was different when it was just yourself, but now the only friend you had in this place had witnessed one of your darkest secrets. This was sure to make him turn around and run now, there was no way he would want to hang out with someone as messed up as you felt you were. "I-I'm sorry." You muttered not sure what else to say other than that.

"Why did you do that?"He asked leaning down licking your blood weirdly like it was supposed to magically make it go away.

"My fucking cousins man, they are here to visit and they torment me anytime I am in the same room as them. I just had to take the edge off, get a little escape."You said softly looking down biting your lower lip harshly. "Are you mad at me?"You asked choking back sobs.

"No I'm not mad...just promise me you won't do it again. Causing yourself pain doesn't make the other go away it just makes it worse. Take it from someone who has learned the hard way."Tate said rolling up his sweatshirt sleeves showing his scars to you, opening up to you for the first time. "It just leads to more pain."He sighed tears welling up in his own eyes. "Come here."He said lightly pulling you into his arms wrapping them tightly around you. Burying your face in his chest you couldn't help but let go, soft sobs escaping being muffled into his t-shirt. "It's okay."He said softly stroking your hair softly just holding you close to him. That was when he noticed something else on your arm. "What's this?"He asked holding your forearm in his hands.

"That's what they did to me when I wouldn't tell them where my dad kept his liquor, I lied and then ran out of there. I'm surprised that they aren't hunting me down just for lying to them."You scoffed the sobs slowly coming to a stop just sniffles remained.

"I can take care of them if you want me to, but you have to get them into the basement. Do you think you can do that?"Tate asked seriously. "I'm not going to hurt them, I'm just going to scare them a little bit."He smirked pulling his right sleeve back down using the cuff to dry your tears. "No more crying, okay? I won't let them hurt you now that I am here."He said with a soothing tone.

You nodded, at that point you didn't even know if you would be upset if they suddenly disappeared not that you would admit that to anyone. "I'll get them, meet us there in fifteen minutes. I can think of something."

"Just tell him that is where the booze is, they won't be able to resist. Easy peasy."He said with a large grin on his face with just a twinge of evil intentions. "I'll be there, in very back by the back door."He explained.

"Got it, and thanks Tate."You said softly. "For everything not just helping me."You lamented sheepishly before putting some toilet paper between your hip and shorts. Leaving the room you saw your window was open showing where Tate usually came from, rarely did he use the front door. Going down the stairs you were looking left and right unsure of where they were. You didn't see anyone until you were against the wall, the wind knocked out of your lungs. Now you were face to face with Jeremy, who was a little more than pissed off at you.
