Chapter 15: Seth&Ekoo

Manasseh's pov:

Blind my brother was blind never to see a thing again. Aaron set beside Ekoo and fed her soup. Aaron kept a straight face but Ek just stared at him occasionally grimacing with pain of her stomach. Surprisingly, Seth was a good navigating with only a slight touch for the hand. We were also eating soup Seth spilling sometimes. Why did Jeb have to come back and hurt my brother?

Ekoo's pov:

Aaron is feeding me some soup. I just look at him. His eyes beautiful blue in color and soft. He kissed me I remember. Did he mean it? "We must head out, they will be coming soon. Can you stand up?"Aaron asked. "I think so our fast healing should have helped." I answered He stood up and took my hand to help me up. Once I was standing Aaron said, "Let me see." I then pulled my shirt up to my abdomen, while feeling a little self conscience.
Aarons pov:

Ek pulled her shirt up revealing the bandages. I pulled the knot out and unwrapped her stomach from the bandages. A long scar still pink and healing stretched a crossed her stomach. " It should be ok for now. Can you open your wings?" I asked. In answer Ek slowly opened her beautiful white wings. "Yes their fine." she said "Ok. great. Now Manasseh we must leave. Get your pack."I said quickly. "ok" he replied. "Winter can you please put out the fire?" "Sure", she said happily. "Let's hurry they will be here soon. " I finished as I started to clean up.

Manasseh's pov:

Getting up slowly I reached over and helped Seth up. "Come on we got to leave soon. " I said softly "It's so funny. The both like each other but their both afraid to be rejected." he mumbled but chuckling as Seth did so. "Yep that just how it goes." I replied as we headed of to work.

Seth's pov :

We have been walking for a few hours before it started to get dark. I tripped a few times but not as many as I had expected. Manasseh turned in to a huge do to help me not fall to much. I was very grateful. I keep hearing birds and the limbs of trees rustling from the wind and longed to see them again.

I may be blind not but every thing I feel or hear is a thousand times stronger than before. I Have another power but I don't want to talk about it if some one ever captured me, they could use me as a very dangerous weapon. Only Winter and Manasseh know about it but even if they tried they could never tell it to anyone. Ek was still limping and Aaron avoiding her gaze sometimes blushing . It really if funny that they are not dating.

Ek's pov:

My stomach kept hurting as I walked. We must have walked for 13miles before we found a camp site. Surprisingly, Winter has not yet complained about her feet hurting. "Ok. This looks like a good spot to camp." said Aaron. Winter and Manasseh went to find some wood as Aaron started a small flame. I lead Seth towards the fire and set down.

The ground was wet and soggy so, I said, "Stand back up Seth, I'll lay down the table cloth that we used for the picnic." I helped him up then reached in my backpack and pulled out the table cloth. I laid it next to the fire and helped Seth back down. "Thanks Ekoo." Seth said as he laid back on a log

"Now its not so wet." " Your welcome" I replied. Aaron then walked over and set beside me. "Thanks Ek." Aaron said quietly. "For what? "I asked. "Living" he answered. "wow. your welcome I guess."

Soon, Aaron had a pot of stew made from a few rabbits that Manasseh killed in a wolf form. It was actually really good.

Then we decided to turn in but the ground was still to wet to sleep on so we all had to fit on it. Winter went as slept in the lap of Manasseh, who was leaning against a log. Seth slept on the bottom of the table cloth. Aaron set down by a sleeping Manasseh and laid against the log.

It was full so I was just standing there unsure what to do. Then Aaron turned to his side gently grabbing my waist and pulled me down beside him. "No one will be left." he said. I smiled and got comfortable then fell asleep.
