Chapter10: With great power comes great responsibility

Seth pov:

I woke  slowly and be came aware of someone beside me, I look over to see Manasseh. He was sleeping peacefully but I disided to awake him."Manasseh.Manasseh.", I said as I shook him.

He jolted awake. "What?!", he said "Where are we?" I asked as calmly as possable. "Don't worry.Where some were safe. They will never find us here. Hey. It looks like Aaron has made breakfast.

"I sniffed the air and for the first time noticed the sweet aromas comming from somewhere. I smelled eggs, bacon, and biscuits. "Mmmm. That smells good. Wait why am I in pjs.? Why are you in pjs?! I questioned. " The girl put you in it . It she also bandaged the cutt you got in your chest." He replied.

"The girl! A girl dressed me!!  I can't believe you did thi--" I stoped in mid-sentence as something sharp stabbed in to my neck. Every thing began to get fuzzy and then it all went black.

Manasseh's pov:

"What did you do that for?!" I yelled at Aaron. "He's ok its just a few seconds of  sadation. Ek attached a bracelet around is hand to monitor his vitals. He said pointing to Seth's wrist.

" When he started freaking out his blood pressure began to rise. Really high blood pressure can harm him and make his recovery longer." Aaron said calmly.

Aaron leaned down and picked up Seth and wallked down the hall in to the kitchen.

Aaron's pov:

As I walked in to the kitchen Seth began to wake up. I set him in a chair then walked over to the stove. 

I picked up the skillet and began to dump eggs on everyone's plates."Ek! Breakfast is ready!" I yelled as I went over to the  oven and got out the biscuits out of the oven.

"Morning!"Ek said cheerfully showing winter to a seat. "Morning Aaron." Winter said happily."Morning."I answered back as I set down.

Seths pov:My eyes began to flutter open. I soon realized that I was being carried by a boy probably only a few years older than me. He set me in a chair then walked over to the stove.

I looked over at Manasseh and he smiled. Then a girl walked in with winter and set down. " Hi Seth, I am Ekoo and this is Aaron.", she said pointing at the teenager that was carrying me.

" So whats your secret?"I asked. " What secret?" Said Manasseh. Well the 99% plan or what ever it was, killed all the un -"special" people." I explained  "Oh. That..... Well I am a shape shifter." Manasseh said.

Then winter spoke up " I am really strong and I can speak all languages incuding animals languages." 

Manasseh pov:

"What about you Seth "  I heard Aaron say. Nobody answered and all was quite. All the sudden Seth got up from the table swiftly and walked down the hall.

Aaron who was cutting open a biscuit suddenly cried out in pain. Some how the knife slipped and cut the top of his other hand it wasn't to deep but it started gushing blood.

Aaron looked at is hand in shock as Ekoo grabbed a towel and Winter looked away. I got up to see how seth was doing. His power is very helpful to anyone around him... just not himself.

Seths pov: I ran in to the bed room and layed face first on the pillow. A sharp jagged pain sliced in my hand I breathed deep and closed my eyes.

I imagined a picture of Aaron and held my breath the pain worsened in my hand and my eyes began to water.Then Manasseh came in and held me in his lap.

Now I know you are thinking a 16 year old boy  holding a 14 year old boy is pretty gay but it was just my foster brother he had helped me through a lot of things.Then I passed out again.
