Chapter 6: Remember Your Past

Heyy. Midnight here. There will be two parts to this next chapter since the first part of this chapter is a continuation.

Natsus P.O.V

Roseanne destroys the ice sphere she created around us and calms down. "Rose. What does he mean?" I try not to call her 'nee-san' since she knows I only call her that if I'm nervous, worried or embarrassed and if I'm calm, it'll calm her panic.
"Natsu. Us Dragneels keep the worlds balance. Keep the balance of peace and war. Light and dark. We were created from the darkness except two of us who are children of the light." She stands up and I stand with her, holding her arm to keep her steady. "One of the light bearers will sacrifice his/herself to keep the peace. To keep us safe, our parents sent us away, changing our hair colour and wiping our memories. I, however, still remember. Probably because of that night..." she shivers.
I remember that night.

Flashback-15 years ago
Rose-neesan runs in front of me, skillfully dodging tree roots.
"Come on, Natsu. We have to run!" She stops and waits for me to catch up.
"I c-can't go on, Rose-neesan. W-wheres Sting-oniichan?" I ask. Fear fills her purple eyes. "Nee-san?"
"Come on, Natsu." She looks up at the sky. I follow her gaze to the moon.
We run into a clearing.
"Leo the lion will guide us. Regulus will protect us." She pants. I collapse.
"Rose-neesan!" I stay on my stomach and shiver, the cold creeping up my arms.
Rose-neesan walks back towards me. Shes trying not to shiver. "Lets rest here for the night."
"Nee-san. I'm scared. Will we die?"
She lies down next to me and pulls me close to her body. She keeps the cold out and my fear drops.
"We won't die, Natsu. Just go to sleep. I promise I'll always protect you. I promise to reunite us. All of us." She whispers in my ear.
"Levy-neesan, Sting-oniichan, Iono-oniichan, Juvia-neesan, Yuki-neesan..." I close my eyes and say: "Rose-neesan. Never... leave..."
I hear her reply: "never." Before I fall asleep.
End of flashback

"You promised to reunite us. I just remembered." I say.
"I also promised to protect you and I needed a dragon to keep you alive that night!" Rose yells. She falls to her knees again, sobbing into her hands.
"Rose. You're a fire Dragon Slayer now. You contain the power of a dragon." I say.
"I wasn't meant to be a Dragon Slayer, Natsu!" She screams. She stands up, takes a few deep breaths and wipes the tears off her cheeks. "You see..."

Flashback-13 years ago-Roseannes P.O.V
I draw my fist back for the tenth time today. Before I can punch the tree, again, someone catches my arm.
"Nee-san! Stop! Look at your knuckles!" Natsu pleads. He lets go of my arm and I put my hands in front of my face. Fresh blood coats my knuckles. "Sting-oniichan. You would be so ashamed if you could see me now..." I mutter quietly. Without thinking, I draw my arm back and punch the tree again.
"Fire..." Natsu gasps. I examine the scorch mark my punch left and notice my hand engulfed in flames.
"Maybe, Roseanne, I should teach you magic." Igneel says. "You have a natural talent for it."
I shake out my fist and the fire disappears.
"Maybe." I reply.
End of flashback-still Roseannes P.O.V

"I can't believe I forgot that..." Natsu mutters.
"I'm sorry to disrupt this but tell me who cast that spell?"
"I did, Master." I say. "I needed to show Levy-neesan and Juvia-neesan who they are since only I remembered."
"So. Four Dragneels in Fairy Tail. One shy, ones a bookworm, ones destructive and ones stronger than the rest."
"Stronger than you know. How about we go on a job, Natsu. You, me, Lucy and Gray." I say.
"Why Ice Princess?" He asked.
"Because I want to get to know team Natsu and Erza is on a job with Wendy and Carla."
"Fine. Lets go."
"One second. Master. Tell me of Iono Marta."

Lucys P.O.V-during Master Makarovs talk

Levy-chan and Juvia sit either side of me.
"I remember now, Lu-chan. I remember it all."
"Juvia does as well. How could Juvia forget little Rose and Natsu?"
Mira gives me a strawberry milkshake and I nod as thanks, giving her the Jewels. "Maybe its a memory loss spell. I mean, Rose must know." Mira states.
"Or Natsu since him and Rose grew up together." I add. "Levy-chan, Juvia, how many Dragneels are there?"
"20. But I can only remember me, Juvia, Rose and Natsu." Levy-chan replies.
"Juvia remembers a blonde boy and a red headed boy..."
"A black haired girl..." Levy-chan adds.
"And a green haired girl and boy. The girl with blue highlights and the boy with..."
"Blonde highlights!" Levy-chan and Juvia say in unison and laugh.
"What!" Rose screams from Masters office. She kicks the door off its hinges and jumps off the balcony, rolling as she hits the floor. Natsu runs to the railing.
"Nee-san! Don't worry!"
Rose takes something out of her boot and a pen from her pocket. She taps the paper with the pen and something appears. She writes something and puts away the paper and pen.
"Where is he!" Rose yells.
"You heard Master, nee-san," Natsu says from beside me.
"I refuse to believe it! Iono-oniichan wouldn't die!"
Mira pulls out a book and flicks through it whist Natsu, Levy-chan and Juvia try to calm down their sister.
"Iono was in a job in the royal castle!" Mira tells them. Natsu and Rose fall silent. "And I have the perfect job for you. Protect the princess of Fiore."

Well at least they know where Iono is... unless hes dead... but when they take the princesses job request they will find out. I know I'm only uploadin this story rather than Trapped and The Psychic Duo but writers blocks a bitch. Ciao-M
