Chapter 14: The Dragon Realm

Heyy. Midnight here. Life still sucks. I have to get up early tomorrow to get my assignments done for college that I haven't started yet (oops). At least I have to do creative writin in English so life doesn't completely suck although I'm not a fan of writin in school so I reuse characters from my other stories. Anyway, I should start the chapter.
Disclaimer: I do not own Fairy Tail or most of the characters. A few, however, are of my own creation.

Lucys P.O.V

"Lucy, Natsu," Rose faces towards us, her scaled arms spread wide, "this is the dragon realm." She smirks and laughs slightly. "Your reactions are priceless!" She holds up a hand mirror (I don't know where she got it and, to be honest, her power frightens me so I don't dare to ask) and I see my expression. Shock mixed with awe and amazement. At least my mouth isn't hanging open, like Natsus. I close his mouth for him and he smiles softly as thanks before facing his sister.
"Rose. Welcome back." The man behind her walks up to us and Rose throws herself in his arms with less enthusiasm as she did with Rogue seven years ago.
"Papa!" Rose exclaims.
"Papa?" Natsu and I repeat.
"Natsu, this is Igneel." Rose answers, not bothering to look at us. Igneel laughs and his scales react to Roses, turning them from fire red to salmon pink, like the twins' hair.
"I-Igneel?" Natsu stutters, slowly walking towards his sister and father.
"Hello, son. Its nice to see you safe. When Rose told me you went missing, I was worried." Igneel pulled him into the hug, his wings surrounding the twins protectively.
"Oh! We don't have time for this!" Rose pulls away from her father's embrace, pulling Natsu with her. She grabs my wrist and drags us to the massive white palace.
We step inside and walk down a long corridor with a white tiled floor and an aquarium as the walls. We walk into what seems to be the throne room. Someone with white angel wings, a white tail and white scales sits in a throne at one end, a rec carpet covering the floor. Now that I look at her, the woman in the throne looks like Roses royal celestial dragon Take-Over. Is this Caelestia? We stop in front and the dragons chocolate brown eyes are locked on me but I don't feel uncomfortable. Her eyes radiate love. Rose gets down on her knees and bows and pulls Natsu down, telling him to do the same.
"My queen. I have brought the Heartfilia girl and my idiot brother." Rose says, hitting the back of Natsus head.
"Ouch! Rose! What was that for?"
"For being a dense idiot baka." Rose replies.
"Roseanne Dragneel. Let me speak with the girl."
"Yes my queen. Lets go, Natsu." Rose and Natsu stand up and walk out, leaving me alone with the dragon.
"Hello, Lucy." She says in a softer voice. A voice I recognize.
"Mother?" I ask. She nods and I hug her.
"Lucy," she pulls away, "I have been inflicted with an incurable disease. I was meant to die three years ago but I had to talk to you first. When Roseanne told me you were missing, I ordered her to return with you and Igneels boy once you returned. I've explained to Roseanne her role, she just has to explain his role to him whist I explain yours.
"I am Layla the Celestial Dragon and queen of the dragons making you, my daughter, princess of the dragons and a Dragon Slayer. If you accept your role, Roseanne will train you and Natsu will protect you."
"Why will Rose train me?" I ask.
"I am in no condition to train anyone. Your role is as mine once was. When the time comes, all Dragon Slayers will disappear from Earthland and come here. A projection will be cast of them commiting suicide so their loved ones do not track them down. Once this happens, you will lead them. You will become Queen of the Dragons."
I stand there, shocked. My mother, Layla Heartfilia, is a dragon and I am a Dragon Slayer. At least, I have the potential to be.
"Fine. I accept my role." I say. My mother smiles.

Natsus P.O.V

My sister drags me out of the palace.
"Nee-san!"
"Natsu. Listen to me." She stops, turns towards me and grabs my shoulders. "Lucy is the princess of the Dragon Realm. That means dragons and Dragon Slayers and, if my suspicions are correct, she is the white princess from the prophecy." She explains.
I cock my head to the side in confusion and Rose-nee sighs.
"Once the White Princess finds her prince, the shadows will come after the twenty and the world will fall into ruin."
"The duo of light will destroy the shadows. Nineteen of the twenty will remain." I finish, only remembering it because it kept me up at night. "So whos the 'duo of light'?"
"I don't know but I think its Sting-nii and Iono-nii. It might not be but they are the most likely candidates since no one else has light magic. From my dreams, the final one of the twenty is a Dragon Slayer but I didn't get a name from her or her element.
"Anyway, I have a job for you. You have to protect Princess Lucy Heartfilia whist I train her in Celestial Dragon Slayer magic."
I nod and Lucy runs towards us with a golden Exceed in her arms. Lucy mutters something and we appear in front of Fairy Tail with Happy and Sylvia.
"Rose, will I stay with Lucy like Sylvia stays with you?" The Exceed asks. It knows Rose-nee?
Rose giggles. "Yes, Kino. Help out Lucy ok."
He throws a fist in the air. "Y-yeah!" He stutters.
"Look after him for me, Heartfilia. If you protect him, he'll do the same."
"I will, Dragneel."
"Mama!" Summer and a black haired boy with one lock of pink hair hugs Rose. He has no visible guild mark and looks to be the same age as Summer.
"Welcome home, Faron."

That took a while plus I almost forgot about the white princess... hehe *rubs the back of my neck with my hand* Anyway the next chapters will be less Natsu, Roseanne and Lucy and more GaLe and GrUvia. Twilight promise-M
