Heyy. Midnight here. I'm back with more Dragneel Twins. I'm writin this on a Saturday but I might not publish it until next weekend because I have started a level 3 course at college. However, I might publish it today or tomorrow if I remember.
Disclaimer: I do not own Fairy Tail or most of the characters. There are, however, a few of my own creation.
Enjoy Chapter 9: The Escort Job-M

Lucys P.O.V
"Rose," Natsu warns.
I open my mouth to say something but notice Roseanne smile.
"Not a threat." She tells him.
I turn to Levy-chan. She has a confused look on her face and Natsu tenses next to me. Sylvia flies out the window for a few minutes before returning.
"He said if you don't want him here, he can leave but he's happy to help no matter what his guild says."
Natsu growls and prince Iono smiles.
"I'll be happy to have him along," he says. The princess nods in agreement.
Sylvia lands on the window sill and her shadow moves.
"Sylvia!" We all yell. Well. All except Rose. Rose flicks her wrist and a wall of flame separates us from the Exceed.
"Not. A. Threat." Rose says, pausing in between her words as the wall vanishes and Sylvias shadow moves in front of her. A dark haired man appears from it and Sylvia flies on his shoulder. He scratches Sylvia behind her ear and the Exceed purrs. Rose literally launches herself at him, knocking them both out the open window. Before we can say anything, she appears again, wings and tail on her back, hugging the man. She flies in and releases him and he kisses her softly. Before I know what's happening, Natsu has the guy pinned against the wall.
"Natsu!" I stand up but Rose pushes me down and shakes her head.
"Who the FUCK do you think you are!" Natsu yells.
"My name is Rogue Cheney third generation Dragon Slayer of Sabertooth."
Natsu releases Rogue.
"What Dragon Slayer?" Juvia asks.
"I'm a Shadow Dragon Slayer. Which is how I became Sylvias shadow."
"I don't care! What are you to my sister!"
I walk to Natsu and attempt to pull him away from Rogue but he pulls his arm out of my grip. Rose stands next to him and touches the fabric covering her neck and it turns into fire. She flicks her wrist and the fire is absorbed into her hand. Rogue removes a bandage on his neck, by his left shoulder. Rose has a black, glowing dragon on the base of her neck, by her right shoulder and Rogue has a blue, glowing phoenix rising from the flames by his right shoulder. Natsu growls but walks away.
"Your... mated?" Iono points out.
"One year last week." Rogue says.
"Week after next, Rogue." Rose sigh. "Mating seasons in two weeks."
"Oh that reminds me. I asked Mira to set aside a week long mission. I was planning on going alone but do you want go with me, Rose?" Natsu asks.
"No. Since mating season doesn't affect me anymore I'm going to stay behind and help Mira, master and Erza with Wendy and Gajeel unless you want to take them?"
Natsu shakes his head.
Roseannes P.O.V
Natsu shakes his head.
"When were you telling me about this solo mission and why are you going alone?" Lucy complains.
"I um... Happy n-needs a p-place to crash?" He stutters.
"Lushee I need to stay at your place for a week." Happy asks.
Lucy ignores him and sits on the couch.
"Anyway, we need to get to Clover. We're meeting the masters of Fairy Tail, Sabertooth, Blue Pegasus, Lamia Scale and Quatro Cerberus." The princess says.
"Yes. Of course." I reply, bowing.
We stand around a horse-drawn carriage carrying the prince and princess. Me and Natsu are at the front on either side of the horses with our Exceeds, Levy and Lucy are at the back and Gray and Juvia are in the middle. We walk through a forest, Natsus eyes show recognition when our eyes meet. But its not just recognition. Theres something else. Fear. Then I remember.
"Its not safe here..." I mutter. Natsu nods.
He stops the horses and sends Happy to scout the area.
"Rose, Natsu, what do you know that we don't?" Gray asks.
"This place is dangerous! We shouldn't have set foot here!" I hiss. I create a fireball in my hand and set fire to a nearby tree as a warning. Animals scatter away from the fire and the tree quickly burns, the fire disappearing.
"Levy. We need a fog." Natsu says.
Levy nods. "Solid script: fog!" She chants, waving her pen, writing the word 'fog'. It appears and disperses, creating a thick fog around us.
"Levy, Juvia, Gray, Lucy, get prince Iono and princess Hisui out of here!" I glow gold and change into an exact copy of Sylvia. "Natsu, Sylvia, Happy and I will find these guys and pound their asses!" I slam my left fist into my right palm and, although I look like Sylvia, small flames flick off my palm.
"No! Were going to fight with you!" Lucy insists.
Natsu forces everyone on the carriage and hits the horses, startling them and making them run away.
"Damn you Roseanne!" Levy shouts back at us. Me and Natsu shiver with fear and the fog disappears.
Me and Sylvia take flight and Happy carries Natsu.
"So whats so bad about this place?" Sylvia asks. I open my mouth to answer but a low laugh interrupts me.
"The dragon has returned." A voice says.
"And with three winged cats as well." Another adds.
Four cloaked figures emerge from the shadows.
"Rouge! Run! I'll be fine!" I yell, sensing my mates presence. I can hear him growl and a shadow runs away from us. I sigh in relief.
"They still have no scent," Natsu says, sniffing the air.
I nod and stay on alert. One of the figures shoot something at Happy and Sylvia and they fall to the floor, paralyzed, before I can say anything. They pick up the Exceeds and Sylvia whimpers.
"Sylvia!" I yell, dropping out of the sky, on my hands and knees, and transforming back to Roseanne.
"Hey look. The second dragon learnt Take-Over magic."
"Happy!" Natsu scrambles to his feet and a moan leaves his mouth, but he disguises it with a growl.
"Don't hurt them!" I scream. I only notice I'm crying when the anger leaves my system and my tears cloud my vision. "Please..." I mumble. They shoot something into Natsus neck and he topples over. They inject a cloudy grey liquid into Happy and Sylvias necks and shoot something in mind. I fall over and get a glimpse of whats in my neck before everything goes black.

Well that accomplished nothing but just as I thought, it took me a week to finish. Mainly because I'm catchin up with Fairy Tail finally. I hope you enjoyed this chapter and I will be updating as much as I can because I really do enjoy writin them. Until next time, ciao-M
