Lucys P.O.V
"Will you marry me?"
Not everyone in the guild is watching but those who are (including five Dragneels and the Strauss sisters) quiet down. Luckily, Roseanne notices and sings a different song, a more upbeat one, to distract the people who aren't watching.
"Luce?" I turn my attention back to Natsu.
"Yes. Yes I will marry you!" Natsu jumps up and pulls me into an embrace. He pulls back and slips the ring on my finger. I hold my hand up to the light, admiring the ring, and pull Natsu into a kiss. He kisses me back until someone pulls him away.
"Natsu, family talk." A rusty haired female says. Her hair is short and messy, like it was cut with childs scissors. At Natsus confused look, she adds, "Jettamine Vanguard but you can call me Jett. I'm a celestial spirit mage from Mermaid Heel. Now lets go! We're 'interviewing' Roseanne in the alley near the guild and we need all nineteen of us." She looks at me. "You two, Heartfilia." She drags me and Natsu outside to an alley where seventeen mages surround Rose. Natsu, Jett and I join them.
"Take-Over!" All five Take-Over mages transform into something. Including Rose who transforms into a phoenix to defend herself.
"Open! Gate of the Lynx! Vernis!" Jett says. Shes holding a silver key. It glows and a lynx appears in front of her. The cat growls before rubbing its head on Jetts leg and purring.
"Vernis, not now. Stay on standby." Jett hisses. Vernis growls and faces Rose.
All the mages prepare their magic. Other than the Take-Over mages and the celestial mage, there is one solid script mage, three water mages, four Dragon Slayers, one ice mages, one requip mage, one shadow mage, three lighting mages and two paper mages. Well from what I can see/know.
"What happened to our parents?" A blonde woman asks, shadows acting as extensions of her limbs and holding her wings down.
"Z-Zoe! I-"
"No! We're sick of not knowing!" Iono shouts, an arrow aimed at her wing. Rose notices this and transforms into the earth dragon, Terra, the shadows still holding her arms down but more holding her wings down.
"O-ok! I-i'll tell you! J-just let me down!"
Zoe removes the shadows and Rose falls to the ground. She hunches her back and spreads her wings, looking like a real dragon. Everyone, except the Dragon Slayers raised by dragons, step back. She flaps her wings and slowly rises into the air.
I put my palm out to her. "Celestial Dragon, Star Stream!" A stream like my Fleuve d'étoiles whip appears from my palm and wraps around Roses leg. I flick my wrist down and it pulls her to the ground. Rose pouts.
"Fine. There dead. I killed them when I was a mercenary under orders of a client. They were causing trouble for a guild."
"Which guild?" I ask.
"I don't know! I was hired by a lazy merc... she mutters the last bit. "But I got money so who cares!" She sighs. "They miss you all. Wanted me to tell you when I reunited us. I got to have a... final... conversation.... before..." Her eyes glisten with unshead tears.
Vernis walks up to the upset mage and rubs his head on her leg before he disappears back to his realm. Rose drops to her knees and breaks down crying. Iono, Natsu and Sting rush forward to comfort her.
We stand in the guild hall, Natsu and I are going to announce our engagement tomorrow so we resumed the party for the Dragneels. Natsu walks up to the stage since Rose asked him to sing.

I let his voice wash over me, the scent of sweat assaulting my nostrils. Rose sniffs beside me.
"Are you ok?" I ask her. She nods.
"Its been so long since I heard him sing like this. In our own little place... maybe he'll show you sometime, Heartfilia."
"Show her what?" Natsu asks from behind me.
"Our little place." Rose replies.
"Oh yeah. How is it?"
"Changed. I changed it." She says before leaving.
The next morning, I meet Rose on my way to the guild.
"Explain to me dragon mating. You told me how I find my mate but thats it."
"Fine. Dragons and Dragon Slayers mate during the act of sex." I feel my face heat up and Rose smirks. "Mavis, you're innocent." She shakes her head. "Sometime before, during or after, dragon instincts will take over the Slayer and all the dragon has to do is puncture the skin of his/her mate on the neck and lick some blood to complete the bond.
"This bond has some perks. You can read your mates mind, talk to them telepathically and share your strongest feelings like love, fear and sadness. A dragon cannot live without his/her mate unless that dragon has offspring. A reason to fight is vital for a dragons survival."
"So... since you and Natsu can talk telepathically, does that mean you can hear a telepathic conversation between Natsu and his mate?" I ask.
"Only if I'm close enough to Natsu. Unlike telepathy between Natsu and I, a dragon and their mate will be able to contact each other no matter the distance between them. Speaking of mates, yours is near." She smirks and leaves. A familiar pair of arms wrap around my waist, pulling me into a muscled chest.
"Hi, Luigi," he whispers in my ear, his breath tickling my ear.
I elbow his stomach. "Its Lucy baka." He chuckles in my ear.
Roseannes P.O.V
Damn. Lucy held me up. I run to Fairy Hills. I'm freaking out. Fuck sake, Lucy. Why couldn't you have asked Natsu. I take the stairs two at a time until I reach the second floor and run to the room at the end. I bang on the door and the young sky Dragon Slayer answers.
"Rose?" Her tired voice says.
"Nows not the time to explain. I need your help!"
