Natsu's P.O.V
I stare at my sister, wondering what she's on about. Fake? I look at the guy Gray killed. His eyes are blank through the ice, his pupils rolled in the back of his head.
"Ice Make: Flaming Excaliber!" Rose yells.
I look towards her. Two swords appear in her hands, both made of ice with a fire core. She runs towards Gray and Gajeel and pushes her twin swords through their chests. They scream with pain as the sword goes right the way through. They glow and change into two males who look completely different.
"Take-Over Magic. The strongest Take-Over wizards can copy magic as well as appearances." She explains.
The boys drop to their knees, the blood leaking from their wounds, the ice absorbing the blood, making the ice opaque rather than translucent. 'Juvia' and 'Levy' back away before Rose sorts them out as well, the flame completely hidden due to the blood. She turns towards me, a light in her purple eyes. She didn't hesitate before killing them and she enjoyed it.
She walks towards me and the ground suddenly shakes, causing her to fall into me. I catch her and we fall to the ground, Rose on top of me. Rogue helps her up.
"Was that..." Lucy starts to say before Rose stops her.
She transforms into her Water Dragon Take-Over. "Water Flame Dragon, Roar!" She roars at the ceiling, making rubble fall down and a hole in the ceiling. I look up and the sky's red, a massive black and blue creature flying overhead.
I feel a burning sensation on the back of my hand. It takes me by surprise. I look at my hand and a small, glowing teardrop is imprinted in the back of it. "A tear..." I mutter.
"No... no no no no no! It wasn't meant to be us! It was meant to be Sting and Iono!" Rose panics. That's when I realise, the children born of light, are me and Rose.
Gray's P.O.V
We're stopped by a roaring overhead and the ground shaking. I fall to my knees catching Juvia.
"G-Gray-sama... t-the sky..." Juvia points to the sky and I look up. The sky is a deep red colour.
A beam of water with fire rings around it appears in my line of sight.
"Rose!" Levy exclaims, going to the hole and looking in. I join her. Rose seems to be panicking about something and Flamebrain seems to be in a trance, staring at a glowing mark on the back of his hand.
"Natsu! Roseanne!" Levy shouts into the hole.
Rose looks up and flies out with Rogue and goes back for Natsu. Lucy flies out by herself.
When Rose holds Levy's hand, they glow. She does the same with Juvia and the same glow appears.
"We have to hurry, where is everyone else?!"
"This way." Levy drags the girls behind her as she runs in the direction of the guild, Natsu, Rogue, Gajeel and I follow, we lost Lisanna and Mira a couple hours ago. Hopefully, they've made their way back to the guild hall.
We meet the rest of the twenty at the hall, the sky still red. The siblings hug, Iono and Atlanta reunited. Rose arranges them in a circle in this order:
Zoe, Hope, Iono, Fate, Atlanta, Josh, Sting, Tommy, Aria, Conan, Xavier, Tony, Levy, Vinny, Juvia, Garreth, Jettamine and Garrett. When they hold hands, their guild marks glow and their hair changes to pink. Rose and Natsu stand in the middle of the circle, both guild mark and teardrops glowing as their hands are clasped between them. They press up against each other, her large breasts against his chiselled chest.
Roseanne's P.O.V
I rearrange my family in a circle.
"What about us?" Natsu asks.
I drag Natsu into the centre with me and clasp our hands between us, my chest against his. He blushes and concentrates on the glowing guild mark on my cheek. I can feel his every breath.
Invocabo flammea caeli stellis et planetis align.
Iterum simul esse sine istis.
I chant. The ground shakes again but we don't break formation. Natsu and I are shoved from side to side as I try to find my footing. Luckily, the circle stays intact. If this fails, the world will be destroyed. I find my footing and steady my brother.
Reditus et viginti erant filii lucis salvabit nos.
Hoc nos umbram Piso exuta dignitate et gloria mundi restitui jusserimus.
I chant.
"Is this whole thing in Latin?" Natsu whispers to me.
I nod. All except one bit, although I hope I won't have to use it.
Everyone glows. A strong gust of wind blows Natsu and me into the circle.
"Don't let the circle break!" Levy yells.
We hit Zoe and Hope. I can feel Zoe's grip falter but Hope grips Zoe's hand tighter. I nod in thanks as Natsu and I battle against the wind to get back to the middle of the circle. The circle glows brighter and I feel a burning in my wrist.
Et occidet cetum XVIII de tenebris, et pax .
A beam of light shoots from the circle and shoots Acnologia as he flies overhead. He falls to the floor, writhing as a human man. As his form disappears. I can feel Natsu's magic draining and I quickly chant:
Oh Holy Gods, allow me to sacrifice myself so my brother can live!
Allow me to be the one to die!
Natsu's magic returns to him and my strength fades. I fall from Natsu's grip and hit the ground. My Take-Over changes rapidly between all of them and my vision fade to black.
Natsu's P.O.V
My sister chants something and her magic drains from her. She lets go of my hands and collapses.
"Rose-nii?" I kneel beside her and Wendy runs to our side. She hovers her hands over my sister and they glow blue, different to the usual green.
"I'm putting her in a magic-induced coma, just until we can help her."
I nod tears on my cheeks. I don't want to lose her again.

3 years later

I find Rogue by his wife's side. We moved Rose-nii to the guild infirmary. Once she sacrificed herself, the sky turned back to normal. Everyone returned to their guilds, Shadow's Domain went on the run with Atlanta. Lucy and I already got married. We didn't want to wait. She gave birth last month to a beautiful little girl we called Nashi. Iono went back to Crocus to be with his wife, Princess Hisui. Levy and Gajeel got married and Gray proposed to a pregnant Juvia yesterday.
I sit by Rogue. We manage to get on now, just barely, though. He has Summer and Faron with him. It's been three years but they still mourn. As do I.
I hold my sisters hand. I'm long past the crying stage.
It's been a couple hours when a muffled cry echoes through the building.
"Natsu!" Lucy stands in the doorway, panting. She shouldn't push herself.
I walk towards her and kiss her gently, resting my hand on her now flat stomach out of habit.
"Nashi won't stop crying. I think she's calling for you."
I walk into the guild hall, my daughter in Juvias arms.
"Come here, Nashi." I take her from Juvia who sighs in relief.
She smiles as soon as she sees me and grips my finger. I smile and my heart fills with light. This is what I have to look forward too.
