"Baby, we have everything. This is the third time we have gone through it," Harry says taking the list from my hands.

"But I think we are forgetting something!" I say taking the list back. I scan through it over and over then finally figure out what I'm missing. "We don't have their individual cakes!"

"Individual cakes?"

"It's a family tradition. On the first birthdays of all the Mcginnins children thwy get small cakes to themselves. They are supposed to smash it all over their face. Make a mess etc. Then we take a picture and add it to the photo book. I grabbed it from moms when we were selling their house. So we have to have cakes for the girls," I explain to Harry as I write it down on the list.

"Ok, your family is strange. But I wouldn't change it for the world."

"Wanna see the photo album?"

"Sure why not."

I get up and open the storage closet in the downstairs hallway. I dig through everything and pull out an old book. It's in really good condition though. I sit back down by Harry and open it.

"Here's great grandpa Billy. Then his kids grandma Jane, great aunt Sarah, great uncle Jim, and great uncle Sam. They had their kids but the one to focus on is Jane. She had my dad and my uncle who died on a car crash when he was 5. My dad had me and Gabbi. We get to fill it in with our children's photos then pass it one to either our kids or Gabbi's kids." I point this all out to Harry and he is surprised by all the photos.

"You were a messy kid!" he says with a chuckle as he points at my picture.

"Gabbi was worse," I say pointing at her. We laugh as we look through the photos. Eventually I put the album away and dig through the closet somr more.

"Whatcha looking for?"

"My moms necklace. She told me to give it to my first born daughter. Which would be Darcy." I continue to dig around to the point of frustration. I sit down and cover my face. "I can't find it!" I start pulling stuff out of the closet. Gabbi comea down the steps and looks at me.

"I'm not cleaning that up," she says before going into the kitchen.

"Can you at least help?" I ask very frustrated.

"What are you even looking for?" she asks as she approaches me.

"Mom's necklace! The one I was supposed to give to my first born daughter on her first brithday." I dig through all the stuff and pull everything out.

"You mean this one?" she asks as she pulls it out of her shirt. She unclips it from her neck and hands it to me. I take it and nod.

"Yea. Where'd did you find it?" I ask as I cool down.

"On the ground by this closet when I first started living here. I just decided to put it on a few weeks ago. I'm sorry, I didn't know it was moms," she apologizes.

"It's ok, at least we didn't lose it."

"Still not cleaning that up," she says as she goes back to the kitchen. I throw a sock ball at her and it hits her back. "Ow! That hurt," she says rubbing her back.
