The Concert I (Not Edited)

I am awoken by Gabbi jumping on my bed.

Go away, I whine.

No, she screams at me.

Why not, I whine again.

Because you have to get up.

Why, I say

Because today is the concert.

I sit up with a jolt.

Concert, I say to myself quietly.

I get up push Gabbi out of my room so I can get ready. When I finish getting dressed I walk out of my room and see Gabbi sitting there staring at me.

What, I say.

You not wearing that to the concert are you.

No silly I'll change when we get there, I tell her.

I walk downstairs, make myself a bowl of cereal, and sit down by Gabbi on the couch.

Watcha doing Gabbi?

Watching the Pretty Little Liars marathon, she replies

Fun, I say as a plop down onto the couch.

I finish my cereal and set the bowl in the sink.

I walk back unto the living room and continue watching PLL with Gabbi.

After another 6 or so episodes its already 11:45am. I decide to make lunch.

Gabbi do you want tacos? I ask.

Sure I guess, she replies.

I brown the meat and heat up some taco shells.

Time to eat Gabbi.

Ok let me finish this episode.

Gabbi sits down at the table 5 minutes later.

After lunch we pack up my car and watch some more PLL.

When are we gonna leave Lizzie.

Well the concert starts at 7 it takes 2 hours to get there if we don't have any traffic. But this is a concert we are going to so I assmue there is to be a lot of traffic. So we can leave right now if you would like.

Yea lets leave now, Gabbi says.

I grab my one direction hoodie and keys and walk out the car.

When I get into my car Gabbi is bouncing up and down in her seat.

Gabbi calm down, sheesh.

I can't I'm so excited, she squeals.

I start up the car and back out of my driveway.

Once I pull onto the highway, Gabbi starts babbling away.

Gabbi how about we play the quiet game.

I knew Gabbi doesn't like losing so she should be quiet for awhile.

Eventually Gabbi starts taking again.

You lost!, I yell.

Sorry, I could not help myself.

30 minutes later we are stuck in traffic.

We might be here awhile Gabbi.

Ugh, I'm so bored though.

Here I have a notepad and a pen, amuse yourself.

Gabbi started writing on the notepad then held it up to the window.

I wrote "are you going to the one direction concert".

Oh good luck getting any answers.

Gabbi actually got 10 answers 7 yes's 1 no and 2 middle fingers.

We started moving after waiting forever. We got to a rest stop so Gabbi could go pee.

Once Gabbi got in the car again we started on our trip once more, it's already 2:15.

Gabbi I don't think we will be there anytime soon.

Really, she whines.

Really, I say.

We got caught in more traffic so Gabbi and I started playing I spy.

I spy with my little eye something purple, I say.

Um... Your purse, she guesses.

Yup, she says.

Then she turns around and starts fishing through her backpack.

She turns around and puts a CD in my radio.

All of a sudden the car fills with the song "Steal My Girl".

Really Gabbi.

Really Lizzie.

Just then the traffic starts moving.

With in no time we are in San Diego, California, where the concert is. I look at the clock and notice it's 3:30pm.

Well Gabbi what do you wanna do for 3 and a half hours.

Um, can we go shopping?

Sure 1D world is only 5 minutes to the east.

We get to 1D world and Gabbi's jaw drops to the floor.

Pick up your jaw Gabbi and let's shop.

I grab a cart and Gabbi starts filling it up.

Remember kiddo we only have $300 and we still gotta eat supper.

Yeah I know she says as she continues to grab stuff.

Ok Gabbi that's enough, I say

Let's look at what you got.

Pajamas-$15

Jewelry-$40 in all

Socks-$5

Two posters-$10

Alright Gabbi that's $70 not including tax, that's enough.

Ok, she says with a pouty face.

I'm gonna check out now, Gabbi.

Ok, hurry up, we only have 2 and a half hours.

Ok Gabbi, calm down.

I check out and then we head out to the car.

Are you ready to eat yet Gabbi?

No it's only 4:30, but we can go to San Diego zoo.

Ok, but we only have an hour.

I know, I know, the zoo is right there too.

We get in the car and head to the zoo. When we get there Gabbi grabs a map, and starts looking for something.

What are you looking for Gabbi?

The giraffes, she says. This ways she says pointing right.

I follow Gabbi top the giraffes, when we get there Gabbi starts taking to the giraffes.

Alright Gabbi time to see the panda bears.

Ok Lizzie.

We walk over to the pandas, I take a few pictures, then it's time to go.

Time to go to eat Gabbi, I say.
