The next morning at 5:12am I am awaken to a noise coming from downstairs. So I jump up out of my bed grab my baseball bat and quietly walk downstairs. Only to find my sister had drop her cereal bowl and was cleaning up the glass.

"Morning," Gabbi says cheerfully.

"Morning," I say back. "Why are you up this early," I ask her.

"I couldn't sleep, I had a bad dream," Gabbi said.

"Oh, are you alright though," I question her.

"Yea I'm fine," she replies with a deep breath.

"So after breakfast do you wanna get the rest of your belongings?"

"Sure, I guess," she whispers.

"Gabbi hun, is there something on your mind?"

"I...I...I just miss mommy and daddy. It's not the same without them."

That's when Gabbi starts crying again

"Gabbi please stop crying, it's going to be ok, they are in a better place now," I whisper in a comforting voice.

Gabbi inhales deeply then says "ok, I'm ready to go to mom's."

I grab my keys off the key rack, hug Gabbi, then we head out the door.

We get to our parents around 10am, walk inside and, start our way upstairs.

Gabbi opens her door, walks in and picks up a picture frame.

I walk over there peer over her shoulder and notice it's a picture of mom and dad. Then I see tear droplets on the glass. I turn Gabbi around and start singing "Strong" by One Direction. I see her frown slowly fade away, I pull her close give her a hug, kiss her on the forehead and walk over to her closet.

"Want me to pack up your clothes while you pack up your posters?"

"Sure," she replies as she looks for things to pack.

As I'm packing up her clothes my stomach growls and that's when I suggest we go out for lunch.

"Gabbi are you getting hungry yet?"

"Yea I'm starving."

"Where do you wanna get lunch?"

"Taco Bell!" She screams.

"Ok," I reply.

When we get to taco bell I walk up to the counter and stare at the menu board.

"Ma'am may I help you?" I hear the cashier say.

"Oh sorry, yea may I have a soft taco, some nachos, and a small soda?"

"Ok would that be all?" she asks.

"No," I turn around and Gabbi is looking at the board still. I tap Gabbi on the shoulder. "Gabbi are you ready to order?"

"Yea, I'll have two soft tacos."

"Tell the cashier not me, silly."

Gabbi walks up to the cash register and orders her tacos.

As we wait for our food Gabbi and I talk about One Direction.

"Are you excited for their concert Gabbi?"

"Yes I'm super excited," she gushes.

"Do you have any 1D merch?"

"Only a shirt," she mumbles.

"Well how about after we finish packing up your things we go shopping for more merch."
