    Alone at last. No more pesky sister to disturb my peace. No more embarrassing parents to bother me. Just me, my thoughts, and this big...empty...house.
    
                          
    It's really quiet in here. I decide to play some music. I hit the play button on my stereo and a familiar tune chimes through the house. Look there's the cow bells. Damn Gabbi left her One Direction CD in my stereo.
    
                          
    She's like 13, what can you expect from her. I grab my phone and call up my mom.
    
                          
    "Hello?"
    
                          
    "Hey mom, Gabbi left one of her CD's in my stereo."
    
                          
    "Ok, she can pick it up when we come over for a visit of your new place."
    
                          
    "Ok, sounds great."
    
                          
    "Lizzie, I gotta go. Taking your sister and father to see that One Direction movie."
    
                          
    She hangs up. I put my phone down and sit on the couch. Big. Empty. House.
    
                          
    I need someone to live here with me. Not family. Not strangers. Don't have any friends not in college. A boyfriend? Nope, don't have one. 
    
                          
    Well, it's just me, and this tub of ice cream. I pull it out of my travel cooler that I packed with food from my parents.
