Dear Gang Leader,
You found out.
You found out I'm homeless.
You realised I stopped eating - I stopped because I needed to save money.
You realised my consistent clothes - the same five clothes every week.
You realised how I was always ill and coughing - sometimes coughing blood.
Then you found me one night sleeping on the bench in the park in the same clothes that I wore at school without a blanket.
I was shivering, and coughing, and sneezing.
Then you did something I didn't expect.
You took me in, as long as I eat and keep myself healthy - I can stay as long as I want or need, no questions asked.
And I did something I've never done before.
I thanked you - face to face.
So again - Thank you.
