Katie rolled over and her head started to pound. She sat up and through her covers away. "Jesus," She said to herself. Korina must have shut the heat off. She shoved her feet into her slippers and patted out into the hallway. "Korina!" She turned the heat up and listened for the shower. Maybe she already left. Katie turned the knob and shoved Korinas bedroom door open. She was sitting on the floor, sketching on their boards. Katies' eyes went wide, "Oh my god! Korina!" Her eyes shot up and glared, "What in the hell Katie knock!" She stood and shoved her out of her room, "You weren't suppose to see those." Katie had tears in her eyes, "Cassie is going to love it! Have you started on Niall yet?" Korina rolled her eyes, "No, an now I"m drawing the bastard last." Katie sucked her bottom lip into her mouth, her eyes shinning, "You can't Tuna no!" Korina rolled her head back, "Katie oh my Jesus calm down! I'll do it when I do it now stay out of my room!"

Katie made breakfast for herself and downed it while finishing the letters to the boys. She hated reading and writing but when it came to her boys she'd do both, and for hours. She put down her address and the home phone and told Niall how much she loved him and how he saved her life. How five years ago she was going through everything that told her to give up, and how when she listened to their first song it was like she woke up. The colors she saw were brighter then they ever were before. Instead of dreading the next day she'd look forward to it.

"Hey retard!" Katie banged on Cassies' door and opened her own, "What?!" She heard from a distance. "Wake up!" She went to her closet and got her work clothes out and through the shirt over her  head. "I'm awake!" she laughed. She knew Cassies' head was under her pillow cursing her sister. "Uh huh!" She stepped into her pants, shoved her feet into her shoes, and called for her once more and shut the apartment door behind her.

On her way to work she realized how much she hated the days that Korina went to work before her. it meant that her lazy ass had to walk. Katie wasn't down for that. "Katie!" She whirled around and saw Korinas' dude running towards her, "Hey," She said to him, turning back around; not bothering to wait until he caught up. "Do you know where Korina is? She's not answering her phone." Katie sighed. Every time Korina and this dick fought, she was in the middle of it. "I imagine that she is at work, or ignoring you." He finally caught up and glanced at her, "What? Why would she be ignoring me? Is it because I never came over to watch you girls do arts and crafts?" Katie stopped dead in her tracks and glared at him, "Maybe, maybe not. But it's certainly why I'm ignoring you now." She quickened her pace and he fell behind, and soon gave up. Sometimes she really loved being taller then most men.

"Alright guys, listen." Katie's boss said, "Today's gonna be a busy day. So I need Lynn and Sherman on stocks, and chaster, Lermings and Bake on front." Katie sighed. She hated Craig Sherman, an he knew it. He hated One Direction and he let her know. So she let him know what she thought, and what she thought; made most men cringe.

Through out the night Katie and Craig bickered about nothing really, until Craig clocked out and Katie was left alone to do her work. She liked working alone, it made her think she was doing things better. Made her think that she didn't need someone watching over her and making her seem incapable. She started humming one of her favorite songs and soon it got stuck in her head, to where the time seemed to drowned out and soon she was singing it out loud, "It's gotta be you," She sang low, and laughter cut her off. She looked up from boxes to see Korina, "Come on Super fan, time to go." Katie turned towards the window and saw that it was late. "Oh, okay."

~~~
"So I was thinking, that if we got there early tomorrow we could see them and get the letters to them you know?" Katie was blabbering on above the radio and spoke louder once Korina turned it up. She didn't like this song anyway. Korina shut the radio off with annoyance. "What would you do if they met with you, or ooooh; what if they called the house tomorrow night and you weren't here?" She started laughing and turned right onto their street. Katie hit Korina, "Don't say that! An you better call me!" Korina parked the car and shut the engine off, "You're telling me that you'd want me to hang up on Niall to talk to your dumb ass." Katie followed her up the steps and swore, "No! I meant like call me with him on the phone with you!" Korina laughed shortly, "No." Katie wanted to yell at her but she saw Korinas' shoulders fall, so Katie didn't push it any further.
"So," Katie hinted to Korina, who was cooking over the stove, chicken tacos; Katie's favorite. "How are you an-" Korina opened the fridge, "I don't really want to talk about him right now. We're fine. He thinks I'm wasting time, time I should be spending with him, I think he's wasting time on shit that's not important, simple as that." Katie scoffed, "You're working, and when you're not working you're sleeping or buying books and supplies for school. What is he doing? Nothing, absolutely nothing," Katie hated love sometimes. "Yeah. I'm sure he means that I haven't had sex-" Katie stood up waving her hands hastily, "Right, right I don't need to hear that." Korinas' lip curved in amusement, "Thought I could tell you anything." Katie stuttered, "Well I mean, you can of course but I don't want to know when you two-" Korina waved her hands absentmindedly, "Don't worry about it Katie, I'm not doing him anytime soon." Katie made a sound between 'yeck' and 'gross' and went back to talking about One Direction. "I'm going to go finish getting packed." Korina nodded, "Yup."
~~~

Katie loved these nights. The nights where her and Korina danced and laughed and made fun of each other, while stuffing their faces with dinner and Katie's famous cake. She loved that when Cassie can home she couldn't help be joined in. Katie loved that when they were to tired to move, they lay on the living room floor with pillows and blankets and binge watch Supernatural and their favorite movies. Katie however didn't like that when she woke up her friend, her best friend, wasn't laying beside them anymore.

Katie made her way towards Korina's bedroom when she heard the toilet flush. She jumped back from the door when Korina opened it, her eyes went wide, "What the hell are you doing up?" Korina asked, walking back to the living room. "I told you I needed to wake up early today. Today is the day!" Katie yelled in a whispered hush. Korina nodded, rubbing her eyes. "What time did you go to bed?" Katie asked gently. "Haven't gone yet." Katie sighed, "Korina, it's six am. Go to bed, believe it or not, you need sleep to live." Korina laughed mockingly, which meant she was so tired she was left with self defense. "Whatever, thank you for the fun facts. I'm going to bed, have fun today, or tomorrow I suppose. I love you." She turned around and went back into her room only to come out a second later with boards, "I've been working on these non stop for a while... I hope you like them." She shut the door behind her and left the boards laying against the wall beside her door. Katie walked towards them eagerly and picked them up. The first one was Liam, and tears stung the back of Katie's throat. She always knew that Korina was amazing, but... This was to much. She carded them and the next was Harry and Katie's tears welled up, threatening to spill over. She went to the next and saw the striking blue eyes and white blond hair and the tears fell. Niall. She set them back on the floor gingerly and knocked on Korina's door. Korina opened it, smiling, "You're welcome." She said lightheartedly. Katie through her arms around Korina, "Fuck Fish." She called to her, and laughed.
