Katie had been awake since six and woke Cassie up around the same time and they were on their way around seven-thirty; their friend who was equally in love with One Direction picked them up. They sang every song that One Direction was playing on the way there and they were so pumped, so consumed with this need to be close to their boys. Today wasn't the first concert that they'd be going to. Today however, was the first concert that was on the floor, that they'd be going to.
"What do you think is going to happen?" Their friend asked nervously. Cassie sat up from the back seat and leaned in, "I think that Louis is going to see me and fall in love." Katie laughed, "You're confusing life with your dreams again." Cassie kicked her seat and leaned back, "Whatever, what do you think will happen?" Katie looked out the window, her eyes focusing on the billboard with her boys on it. She smiled slightly, "I don't know." She said to herself. "But I know Niall isn't going to fall in love with me." She frowned, but smiled, remembering where they were going. "Guys?" She asked. "Yeah?" They replied. "WE'RE GOING TO SEE ONE DIRECTION!" She yelled and turned the music up.

They got there around noon and they hauled ass to get there first. Katie was running, physically pushing herself to her limits, wanting; needing, to see them. She pumped her legs and she knew she'd have a charlie horse the next day. However in that moment she didn't care, she pushed harder and harder and when her hand touched the door into the stadium, her heart jumped, hitting her rib-cage over an over again. She scanned the stadium. "Their not here yet!" Her sister and friend was close behind her, breathing hard. Katie, in that moment, didn't seem to need air. She heard her friend mention cops when she ducked into the building. She was the first one here. Katie Lynn, was the first one in the stadium. The first one.
The boys didn't get there until around 9, they had waited hours. Hours to see them. Their feet hurt, their backs ached, their heads pounded, but they had never been more alive. At nine o'clock, Louis ran up on stage, his eyes as bright as they'd ever been. He looked down from the stage and looked at Katie and Cassie and smiled. "I LOVE YOU!" Cassie screamed, and Louis seemed to have laughed, but they couldn't hear him. He waved, and went to the far right speaker. Harry jumped every step in a childish way and Katie couldn't help but think that Korina would think he were gay. Although, Korina always hoped someone was gay. They waved and screamed and Harry waved back eagerly. Katie's face hurt, she'd been smiling nonstop for hours. Liam pushed Harry and laughed when he fell. They tried to wave at him but he seemed to be consumed in just laughing.
Katie's heart was racing for hours, she'd been awake for hours, her entire body was alive. However, when she saw the white blond hair come around the corner, her heart skipped a beat, it began to race at a speed that had never occurred before. She tried to push forward but fans were already there, pushing her out of the way. She tried to fight it. Her and her sister being six foot helped. But six hundred fans pushing them out of the way didn't. He jogged up the steps to the stage and saw the posters that Katie and Cassie were holding. Nialls' face looked astonished. Katie thanked Korina in that moment. "Niall!" She screamed as loud as she could. He stepped toward her, and in that moment, her heart didn't speed up, it didn't skip a beat, it didn't even break. It steadied. Her heart went calm, it leveled out; telling her that this, what ever was happening, was right. He made eye contact and jumped down from the stage, and Katie tried to push through, tried to fight her way to the front. Niall was still watching her, and in the distance Katie heard Cassie yelling at Louis, who was walking to where they were. The body guard held Niall back and the second body guard caught the letter that Katie had thrown. Her breath quickened as she saw that letter was being handed to him. Niall was holding her letter. Niall Freaking Horan was holding something she had been holding moments ago.

"Can we please just pull over and stay at a hotel?" The friend asked tiredly. "Can you drive without killing us?" Cassie asked. She thought about it, "Yeah?" Katie smiled, "Then no. We need to get home." Katie thought about them calling and Korina answering all pissed off. Or not all because she was asleep. "Yeah, no we need to get home, come on. We can take turns driving." Cassie laughed, "We don't have our licences." Katie shrugged, "True. Just, fight the sleep for as long as you can alright?" She nodded, "Fine."
Katie dozed off and jumped awake, sweat running down her back. "What happened?" She said out loud. Cassie mumbled from the back seat, "Shut the hell up." Katie scanned the road and look at her friend. The window was down and the heat was on full blast. "What are you doing?" She asked, looking at the radio clock. "Trying to stay awake." Katie texted Korina to see if she were up. She was. "Look. You live two hours that way and we live three hours that way, I don't want you to have to drive five more hours to get home. Lets stop and my friend can pick us up. You can take a nap in the back seat while Cass and I stay up here." She nodded, and stepped out, stretching. Katie hit Cassie hard, "Wake up." Cassie mumbled, "I hate you." Katie yawned, ignoring her come back. "Just get up front."
