Katie glanced at the clock beside her bed and sighed. 12:02. In that moment she heard the front door close, and keys hitting the counter top. She wanted to get up and apologize to Korina. However Katie knew Korina needed time. Katie shut the TV off a little over an hour ago and started listening to music. She listened to the One Direction album over a dozen times. Katie flipped through an old magazine when there was a soft knock on her door. She sat up hastily, pausing the current song playing. "Come in," She said.
Korina slid inside her room and shut the door behind her, she smelt of dust and old books. "Korina, listen I, uh..." Katie started to say but the sentence was drawn out in silence. Korina held her hand up and slid to the floor. Katie swung her feet over her bed and looked down at Korina, "Tuna," She said, "Are you-" Korina sniffed and wiped at her eyes, "I did love him you know?" Katie looked down in guilt. Shit, . "I," Korina said quietly, "I just hadn't in a long time." Katie looked up warily. Korina held her knees to her chest, "Thank you, for..." Katie shook her head, "I am sorry." Korina stood, and Katie followed. Katie put her arms around Korina and felt Korina shake; she was crying, and Katie couldn't help. Korina pulled away from the hug and wiped at her face once more. "You can sleep now." She said and laughed. "Dick," Katie said, but smiled; and yawned. Korina knew that Katie couldn't sleep if they were fighting. Katie knew that Korina couldn't sleep period.
Katie inhaled roughly, her eyes tightly shut. "Shit," She whispered to herself. She didn't remember much from the dream. She remembered crying, and eyes as blue as the sea. She glanced at her clock and swore under her breath. Really, two in the god damn morning? She thought, and stood to go to the bathroom. Out in the hallway she heard whispers and became worried. It was two in the morning who would be awake? Everyone had to work early the next day. Katie peered into Korinas room and shut it once she knew she was okay. Katie turned Cassie's knob and slid her head in, and held back a scream. She shut it quickly and rubbed at her eyes viciously. "Ew, ew ew ew..." She kept saying under her breath as she leaned against the wall. The knob started to jiggle and Katie's eyes went wide and ducked into the nearest bedroom. Which just happened to be Korinas, whom sat up and yawned; rubbing sleep away from her eyes. "Katie what the hell?" Katie ran over to Korinas bed and slid under her covers, "Pretend you're asleep!" She yelled in a whisper as the door opened. They both went dead, eyes closed and breath held. "Korina?" Cassie whispered. Katie was glad then that Korina loved her room to be pitch black. When Korina didn't answer, Cassie shut the door, and they both waited until her own clicked home.
Korina hit Katie's shoulder, "What in the hell is going on?" She sat up, flicking the lamp next to her bed on, and looked down at Katie, who was still shaken. "Korina I," She stopped and tried to get the picture out of her head, "I saw it." Korina looked around the room in confusion and looked at her door, where Cassie had just been, and Korina remember the sight of her. Cassie left the door slightly open; the hallway light projecting onto the floor of the room. Korinas eyes widened in realization and her cheeks puffed, trying desperately to keep in her laugh. Katie hit Korinas leg and sat up, "It's not funny Korina!" Korina held the back of her hand to her mouth, hard; her teeth sinking in to her lip. "It is not funny!" She said louder. Korinas body shook, laughter consuming her.
Cassie pushed the door open and Korina laughed harder once she saw her. Cassie was in nothing but her One Direction sheet; hair tousled and eyes filled with lust, and presumably anger. Korina let her hand fall and a loud, deep, laughter shot out and hit every wall, echoing throughout the room. Cassie's eyes went wide, "What's so funny?" Katie couldn't look at her and Korina held her stomach. Korina opened her mouth to say something but Katie hit her shoulder, "We were watching videos, sorry we woke you." She said, looking at the wall. Cassie scoffed, "Well thanks, and I wasn't sleep-" Katie cleared her throat, cutting her sister off. Korinas laughter got quiet, so quiet that you couldn't hear her. That was her real laugh. When something was so funny, you couldn't do anything. Katie smiled despite her situation, as did Cassie. Korinas laugh was contagious, "Katie!" She tried to get out, get out something that would tell everyone why she thought the situation was so god damn funny.
Korinas door was being pushed open slightly more then it already was. A tall, rugged, good looking guy looked at all three of them, in nothing but a twin sheet of the one Cassie had on. Korina bit back her laughter, her eyes watering. Katie blushed and Cassie looked at him, "Hey babe, I'll be there in a second." He nodded at each of them, "Alright then." Cassie smiled, "Did you hear the accent?" Katie's face grew hotter and Korinas nostrils flared, her body shaking. Cassie swore under her breath. "Jesus Christ guys, I'm going back to-" Katie interrupted her, "Bed!" She said hastily. Cassie just rolled her eyes and slammed the door.
Katie hit Korina as hard as she could and Korina gasped, "Ouch!" She yelled and hit her back. They started hitting each other when Korina hit Katie in the boob. "Ouch ouch ouch TUNA!" She said in anger. Korina held up her hands, "Okay okay listen!" She said whispering, watching for her door to open. When it didn't she continued. "Look, it is completely normal to have sex." She said softly. Katie shook her head, "No, no!" She said, rubbing her eyes, "I-" Korina patted her shoulder, "You know, I'm not sure I want the details. Your sister will no doubt tell me them tomorrow anyhow." Katie figured that that was true.
"Look, Katie, your sister is a pretty awesome chick. Other then having sex on Louis face, I see why guys like her." Katie could see the amusement in Korinas eyes, "You should go to sleep, you have work tomorrow." Katie stood, shakily, but she did it. "You don't?" Korina shook her head, laying back down, "Nope, took it off." Katie didn't know why she did. Though Katie thought it may be because she needed sleep. A tinge of guilt hit her; she woke her up. This was the first time she saw her sleeping in a while. Katie nodded, and put her head to the door to listen, "Katie, they've been at it for a while and I haven't heard anything to bad. Just go." She exclaimed, not even having to look at Katie. She closed her eyes and opened the door quickly, dashing back to her room.
She didn't even get to go pee.

Katie shut the door to the stock room and clocked out, yawning for five minutes in a row. She had gotten zero sleep last night. She put in a pair of earbuds but only one of the buds had worked. Katie had tried to sleep for at least a little bit, but failed measurably. Now, Katie went to the front and said her goodbyes to her manager. Once Katie was outside, she realized what a crappy day it was.
August was suppose to be at least somewhat nice out still. It looked like it was going to rain, and she couldn't help but think that it fit her mood. She was half way home when a car started honking obnoxiously. She scanned the road and came up short. She continued to walk and once she turned the corner, Korinas car came into view, honking at an insanely fast rate. "Katie! There you are, get in!" She said excitedly.
Katie slid into the car and glared at Korina, "You know people are still asleep right?" She said. Korina scoffed and shrugged it off, "Oh please. If people aren't up by now they should be thanking me." Katie shook her head, "It's only ten." Korina, again, shrugged. "Whatever, when you called an said you got off early I'm like, cool we can chill and maybe go to the movies; you know we haven't had a girls day in such a long time." Korina was rambling, and didn't seem to notice, "So I was cleaning the house around nine-thirty when you called an told me, that's why I'm late by the way, anyway!" She yelled, "I jumped in the shower because I had swept the house, and went into Cassie's room and I wasn't gonna not shower after that." Katie, against her morals, smiled. "Then," Korina said, in a different voice, staring at Katie. She leaned away, looking at Korina, "Then what?" Korina shrieked, a smile so big on her face Katie couldn't help but smile right along with her. "Then, I got a call." Katie frowned, and her brows furrowed, "A call?"
