Katie rolled over in bed, again; and again. Finally she dragged herself down the hall an into the kitchen. She saw the sink and cursed Cassie. Katie still had adrenaline running through her body, so she did the dishes. Katie didn't realize that it was five in the morning. "Morning," Korina stated quietly, shrugging towards the coffee machine. "Morning Tuna," Katie said. "I can see you didn't get any sleep." Korina said, filling a cup to the rim. Korina never had black coffee. Not unless she really needed it. "I could say the same. When's the last time you slept?" Korina laughed, downing the black lava in seconds. "I'll be alright."

Katie started to apologize for waking her up when Korina stopped her, "Don't worry about it Katie. Hey," She said, her eyes lighting up, "I was thinking we could go shopping today, for your date." Katie's heart skipped a beat, "It's not a date, and I'm sure he's already forgotten about it." Katie looked down, scared that she was right. Korina shook her head, setting her empty cup in the now empty sink. "No, I don't think so. Reading that letter," She looked up, like she was searching for the right words, "It was different. I mean you know that Katie, you know that." Katie sat down, mixing her coffee slowly, "I'm sure he's said the same thing to thousands of other girls," Korina shrugged, "Guys too, probably."

When Katie didn't laugh Korina sat beside her, grabbing her hand, "Katie, you're different from other fans. You love Niall for who he is, not for how much money he makes, or how big his car is, or how sweet his house looks in the inside." Korina pulled away, but smiled slightly, "There aren't a lot of people like you out there Katie."

Katie inhaled, and closed her eyes; thinking. "I don't know Korina. There are a lot of better looking-" Katie flinched in pain, "Ouch what the hell?" She rubbed her forearm, "Did you pinch me?" Korina nodded, looking at Katie like she was stupid, "Damn right I pinched you, better looking Katie? Better looking? Have you seen some of the trolls that follow your boys around?" Katie smiled, despite herself. The faces Korina made, you couldn't help but calm down and mellow out. "Yeah but there are good looking people too." Katie said quickly, covering her arm. "Right," Korina said, standing; pouring another cup of coffee; Cassie's cup. Katie figured that Korina didn't know that Cassie came home late last night.

"Right, because you're ugly right? You're the troll? You are so disgusting that no one in their right mind could possibly look at you without puking?" Korina said angrily. Katie meant to agree, but couldn't... "Fuck that Katie, it's not true and you know it." Korina swallowed half the cup and only then added creamer. She leaned against the counter, opposite Katie, and stared her down. "Look at that," She smiled angrily, "Not puking, imagine that." Katie rolled her eyes, "I get it. I just think he could do-" Korina stood her full height. Which was hilariously low compared to Katie's; though in this moment, it felt like she was towering over her friend.

"Listen, because I'm only going to say this one time, and one time only." She leaned in, her toes barley touching the floor, searching Katie's eyes; trying to make her understand, "You're worth it. You're worth anything that bastard can give you. Niall may think that your amazing, because you are. Niall may think you're beautiful, because you are. Niall may think you're the greatest fan ever; because you are." Korina said, and did a double take; "After your sister of course. She's a great fan." Katie turned and saw Cassie looking at them both, squinting into the kitchen light. She looked like she could kill with a single glare. Korina stood back on the palms of her feet and smiled at Cassie with a nervous look; realizing she was home only in that moment. "Morning sunshine!" Cassie mumbled something and went to the coffee.

Korinas eyes went wide when she realized what she had done. Katie realized that she knew what she did and they both left the kitchen in a hurry, "Who had the last cup of coffee!" At the same time, both Korina and Katie screamed the others name. Cassie mumbled something that sounded a lot like 'sucking grass moles', as she slammed a drawer. "We're going to the store I'll grab some coffee!" Korina said from her room, "Oh and I call shower!" She said quickly, grabbing her towel and ducking inside the bathroom.
