I grab Travis' hands as we danced. He held me in place and spun me with the music. He's a good dancer but my mind couldn't help thinking about how great of a dancer Nolan was. Just as I thought that, Nolan and Emily walked up beside us and started to dance. She was a bad dancer and I think Nolan noticed me noticing. He stopped her from dancing and led her through a simple movement and he held her close and made them look ten times better than they looked before. I was jealous. Very jealous to say the least.

I gripped Travis closer and he gazed into my eyes and I realized how cute his hazel eyes were. He swiped my cheek and pushed a stray hair out of my eye. He then leaned in and- I got bumped into another person. Wait, what just happened? I was no longer in the arms of Travis. We were separated by an ugly couple. Oh wait, that's just Nolan and his rag-doll-of-a-date. I gave him the really face and grabbed Travis' hand before walking off to the bar with him. He smiled at me and ordered two waters.

"I didn't even know bars had water."

"Well, only for you." The bar-tender winked at me. Ew. Travis' eyebrow went up and the bar-tender looked at the way Travis was holding me before getting the hint and shuffling off to get our waters.

"Gross." I say watching the guy leave.

"I don't question why he choose to hit on you, Kat. You're gorgeous." Travis' eyes lit up with the colorful lights spewing around the building.

"Thanks." I say, wishing I could believe that. The bar-tender plopped our waters down and handed me a piece of paper. I opened it and it had his number on it. I rolled my eyes and threw it away. Travis smiled out of nowhere.

"What?" I smile back at him warmly.

"You don't realize how beautiful you are." He says and I go speechless. The next thing I know, he leaned closer. I feel his breath pan my face and then soft lips touch my cheek. I backed away and smiled at Travis. He did the same. Suddenly, I had to pee. I excused myself and headed to the bathroom after we talked for a while. Just as I turned the corner, there, pressed against the wall was Nolan and Emily. She was leaning in and I got very, very upset. Without thinking, I walked over to them and yanked Nolan off her.

"What the hell, Nolan!" I sounded hurt and my voice cracked.

"What do you mean what the hell? I had to put up with that guy and his urge to touch you 24/7."

"Okay but I wasn't going to make out with my date." I say, pointing at Emily who was now walking away, sensing the obvious tension. Maybe that was a bit of an exaggeration but I didn't regret saying it.

"I wouldn't do that. I don't want anyone else but you." He stared into my eyes and I could tell he was telling the truth. I was speechless at the mood that went from anger to sadness in a split second. He took my hands in his. "How did we get here?" I had a feeling he wasn't talking about the club but about us.

"I don't know." I replied.

"Then can we please fix that because I need you." He snaked his palm around my neck. I blushed and he took that as an invitation to lean in. I stopped him.

"I can't get the picture of her mouth that close to yours. It'll be a while." I say, pushing him away and laughing as he pouted.

"That's what you get for trying to make me jealous." I say, walking away, knowing he was staring at my butt. When he didn't reply, I turned around and caught him staring.

"My eyes aren't that low Nolan." He smirked and joined me in step. We walked to the bar area where Emily had her face hooked to Travis'. I deadpanned him as his eyes met mine. Wow, that girl moves faster that light years. He rushed over to me and Nolan leaving Emily standing alone by the bar with a drink in her hand.
