I thread through the trees, breathless and I was pretty sure I was going to pass out. Nolan carried his bags without a huff and I'm behind him having a freaking asthma attack! I groan for the hundredth time and he turns around to look at me. I take the time to drop my bags and fall to the ground in relief of not moving anymore.

"H-how much l- longer till we get there?" I ask, out of breath. I lay on my back as I heard foot steps nearing me.

"Look ahead, Kat." He held out his hands for me. "Drama queen, we've only been walking for ten minutes." He said. Whatever. I denied his hand and struggled to get my tired butt off the ground. He chuckled and bent down to me and without notice, lifted me up and over his shoulder.

"Uhm, this is not okay." I whimper.

"You're not okay." He replied, bouncing me on purpose. After a long pause I felt a blush rise to my face.

What if he's staring at my butt?

He's probably not, so calm down. My inner me scolds.

"Hey uhm, Nolan?" I ask.

"Hmm." He answers.

"What about my bags, I dropped them when you kidnapped me."

"What about them?"

"I kind of need them. So if you could put me down..." I trailed off but he kept walking.

"Why would I want to do that?" He asked, pausing in his tracks.

"What do you mean?"

"The butler is coming behind us, he'll get them."

"WHAT?! Nolan, you had me bring those bags when you have a freaking BUTLER?!" I yell, pushing myself out of his grip and fall. But Nolan reacted in time to pull me back to him. And he was close.

"It was funny." He smirked, scanning my red face. I shook my head and pushed him away from me.

" Ahem." A voice cleared and our heads snapped in the direction of none other than Chase. I smiled at him and he jogged up to us.

"Surprise." He grinned and took me into warm arms. I hugged him back with as much passion as he did me. My back was turned to Nolan.

"When is your girl coming?" Chase nodded to Nolan. Wait, what girl? Didn't Nolan just tell me he wanted me? Why did I even believe him? He's a player and a jerk and messes with people's feelings. I wasn't going to let him mess with mine though. Chase and I separated but he still held me by his side so we were facing Nolan. Nolan clenched his jaw and checked his watch.

"Anytime soon." He replied, looking at Chase. I was tiny compared to the two boys.

"Oh, okay." Chase turned to me, fully. "Did they show you your cabin?" he asked. I shook my head.

"Nope."

"Well, then I guess I'll be doing the honor. Where are your bags?" He asked. I turned to Nolan.

"He told me that the butler will get it."

"Tim is coming?" Chase asked. Nolan nodded and turned to leave but not before sending us a mischievous smirk. Something tells me that Tim isn't coming for my bags.

"Yeah, we should go get the bags. Do you know where they are?" Chase asked, chuckling at me.

"Yeah, over here." I took his hand, pulling him in the right direction.

"Wow, you took the longer route. Did Nolan set you up to this?" He asked, letting a slight frown sit on his handsome features. I nodded.

"It's okay. Exercise is good." I place my palm on his cheek.
