A gentle breeze made my skin shiver and my eyes fluttered open. My body quivered even though Cali is warm and I felt really bare. Making my way up to a sitting position hurt a bit in my lower region and memories of last night raced through my mind. The way Nolan touched me. The way he was so gentle with me as if I were a frail baby. The way he whispered lovely things into my ear. It was beautiful and my stomach dropped as I looked beside me to see that Nolan wasn't there. I felt the blood rush into my cheeks and my eyes flooded as I looked around to see he wasn't in the room either. I looked down and saw a red stain on the sheets between my legs and remembered what happens to girls after their virginity had been taken.

"Crud." I grumbled to myself. I got up with the sheet around my body and put on my dress. I heard the door click and a knock sounded on my bathroom door. I looked in the mirror to wipe the stray tears before opening the door. Nolan stood there with a bag.

"Sorry I wasn't here when you woke up. I went to get you some stuff." He studied my face. "Were you crying?"

"Uhh, no." I smiled weakly. "Thank you." I tried to close the door but he stepped into the bathroom.

"What's wrong?" He cupped my cheeks.

"I just... I thought you-"

"Ditched you?" He asked and I nodded in reply. "I would never, Kat. I'm crazy in love with you." He kissed my lips and left me to shower and change. I stripped and hopped in the shower and finished up in twenty minutes. The water had soothed my body, taking away some of the discomfort from my abdomen and I got dressed in a pair of black joggers and a plain white crop top. I put my earrings in and pulled my wet hair into a high ponytail. I opened the door and smiled at the sight. Nolan leaned on the balcony railing and looked out at the afternoon sky. I walked up to him and stood, leaning on the railing as well.

"Last night..." He started.

"Was amazing, Nolan." I looked at him and he stared back at me.

"It was more than amazing." He pulled me into his side. We stood in a comfortable silence for a minute before he broke it.  "Did I hurt you?" He asked. I shook my head.

"No. Well, not for too long." I shifted. He kissed my head and chuckled.

"Oh my God, my parents!" I jumped out of his hands and dived onto the bed for my phone. I fished it off the side table and read the screen. Empty. No calls. No texts. Nothing.

"I told Maddie to cover for you. She told your mother that you were spending the night at hers." He plopped down beside me with the biggest smile on his face and started kissing my jaw.

"Nolan.." I moaned. He pulled me closer to him and joined his lips to mine. His lips were warm and perfect for mine. His hands roamed all the way to the bottom of my shirt but I stopped him.

"Round 19?" He asked. I laughed at him and blushed.

"I would love to but I'm still recovering from the previous round." I kissed his cheek and got up. I got off the bed and pulled him by his feet off as well.

"Let's go to Walmart." He looked up at the ceiling.

"Walmart?" I raised a brow at him.

"Yeah. We can go shopping for milk or celery or something."

"Celery?" I asked, plopping myself on his lap and tilting my head all the way up to see his face. "I hate celery."

"Okay, milk and carrots." He redeemed.

"Why milk?"

"Because I like milk."

"Why do you like milk?"

"Why do you not like milk?"

"I like milk."

"Then stop hating on milk." He swiftly spun us over so that he hovered over my body and hovered his lips a centimeter close to mine.

"I wasn't hating." I whispered. He smiled and kissed me. He kissed me passionately and swept his tongue over my bottom lip. By now, I was mastered in the art of French kissing. His tongue met mine in a belly- twirling dance. My hands decided to wander off and ended up under his shirt.

"Dammit Kat, you're turning me on." He warned with a sinister smirk.

"Are you sure it's not the thought of shopping for milk that's turning you on?" I asked. He looked at me and we busted out laughing. Well, I totally just ruined that moment but it was worth it. His laugh is so amazing. I'd give anything to just lay here and listen to him laugh.

"I'm one-hundred percent sure it's you and not milk that's turning me on." He kissed my neck before getting up and pulling me up along too. I grabbed my leather jacket to hide the ugly scars on my wrist as we were leaving but Nolan stopped me.

"Don't hide them. Be you. The real, one hundred-percent you." He paused when he got my full attention and continued confidently. "Be the you who gets good grades, the one who used to self harm, the one who everyone thinks is miss-perfect and the one who wears black like a religion. Be all of you." He kissed my head and I almost cried. He's right though so I ditch the jacket. I need to be me. I'm both of those girls. I need to find a way to balance myself and not change who I am because of the people who are around. I nodded and grabbed my phone before Nolan closed the door and intertwined our fingers and led us downstairs to a cab waiting outside. My stomach flutters with the knowledge that he isn't ashamed of me.

"You're beautiful." He kissed me before leading us into the cab.

"Where might I drive you today?" The cab driver asked.

"The nearest Walmart please." Nolan answered. I pulled out my phone and leaned on Nolan's shoulder as I checked my social media. I added a goofy video of us and posted it to my snapchat story. We drove to Walmart and hopped out of the car. Nolan paid the driver and we raced into Walmart. He grabbed a cart and we started shopping like a normal couple.
That is until we got to the candy aisle. I started grabbing candy and soda and popcorn and... basically everything sweet.

"And who's paying for all this?" He asked with his hands pressed to his hips. I pushed my hands through the loop he made with his arms and hugged him by the waist. I slipped my hand up his back and stood on my tippy toes to brush my lips against his jawline. He wrapped his arms around me and I started kissing his neck and made my way down slowly to his collar bone. Luckily, this aisle had no-one else in it.

"Okay, I'll pay." I bit his bottom lip, playfully and separated us. Of course I wasn't going to let him pay for all of this but I like teasing him too much.

"Great, thanks. Grab those oreos." I pointed to the shelf where the oreos laid. He placed a death glare in my direction and put the oreos in the cart. As soon as he did that, I hopped on the cart and started skating away from him. I glided into the next aisle and almost screamed when I was yanked backward into a hard chest, leaving the cart rolling forward. It bumped into a wall with a loud crash. It didn't break or anything but I'm pretty sure it got dented. Well crap. He looked at me and we cracked up laughing. We checked out after the manager came to kick us out for "not acting our age and destroying property" and the cab that drove us there, waited outside for us. Nolan grabbed all four bags of food and put them in the trunk. When we got to the hotel room, I plopped on the bed and logged into my Netflix. We laid on the bed wrapped in each other's warmth.
