Seducing Boys with Bare Shoulders (Fayth)

I'm seriously done with middle school dress codes. I don't even get why they ban tank tops, even the ones with straps that are like, 1 inch wide. Sometimes your bra strap might like, slide or something and it'll be visible, but boys and girls, please, IT'S JUST A BRA STRAP. I'm going off topic...okay. Like seriously, when I shift and move, my boob doesn't flash itself to the world or anything if that's what the school administration worries about. Logic, puh-lease. And it's not like my shoulders are sexual or anything.

Wearing shorts that are well, kind of short should be fine as long as they're not small enough that your a** or your underwear is showing. Like seriously, it's not MY fault that my legs are distracting other students. It's their fault if they let something like that distract them. And we're in MIDDLE SCHOOL for gods sake. I really don't think eleven year old boys are going to fantasize about something that early (but then, with the way they talk sometimes...you never know). And if they do get distracted, well, do teach the boys that a girl's body is not something they should stare at for excessive amounts of time. That's creepy, rude, and sexual if you stare at certain parts of the body.

When I was in elementary school, nobody made a big deal about it when a boy took off his shirt during class and kept it that way for a while. But when a girl came to school in a tank top, everyone started yelling and freaking out. Puh-lease people! Why can't you let a seven year-old wear what they want!?!? Now, in middle school, the situation hasn't changed. Some people might tease the boy who take off his shirt about his non-existent abs, but the girl who wears the tank top get yelled at and called a slut. A slut people, a slut. Really society, really???

If you want to wear a crop top, go for it! If you want to wear a halter top, sure! A mini skirt, definitely! I'm not saying that you should go and wear trashy clothes, I'm just trying to say that girls should be able to feel comfortable in whatever they wear and not be sent home for wearing a tank top. Besides, when did the schools start caring more about what we wear than us being able to learn? I want freedom to wear what I want! I don't want to be judged for wearing a halter top! If you agree, join the fight and use the hashtag, #ifanythingschooltaughtme on twitter. We will get freedom to wear what we want!
