(BANGTAN BOMB!) FRIDAY
The next thing you know, it was already morning. Minhee knew that before she could even open her eyes with her alarm clock going off.
The room was still dark with the curtains barely letting in the early light, but her body already felt it. The kind of tired that didn't come from moving, but from thinking a little too much and sleeping a lot less.
Her phone was still in her hand.
At some point, she must've fallen asleep holding it.
She blinked slowly, turning her head just enough to check the screen as a small shift of movement beside her pulled her attention away.
Sehun was already up. They shared a room with two queen sized beds. Not fully moving yet, but awake, he sat scrolling through his phone as well.
Minhee pushed herself up slightly, brushing her hair back.
"...What time is it?"
"7:30" Sehun replied
She let out a quiet breath, glancing back down at her phone.
A new message.
Jungkook:We boarded.
Time stamp: 4:02 AM.
Minhee stared at it for a second, something in her chest finally easing.
"They boarded," she said, more to herself than anyone else
Sehun looked up briefly.
"That's good."
Minhee nodded, her lips pressing together before a small smile broke through despite how tired she felt.
"Yeah."
"There plane was delayed for awhile wasn't it? I heard there was a bad storm-" Sehun flopped on his back showing Minhee his phone of the Korean weather forecast
She swung her legs over the side of the bed, standing up and stretching slightly, shaking off the heaviness.
"Toronto is like... thirteen hours backward-" Minhee counted on her fingers before grabbing her phone again as she started moving around the room
She reached for the small camera sitting nearby, turning it on as she walked toward the window.
"Good morning," she said softly, her voice still sleeply
She adjusted the frame slightly, the Toronto skyline coming into view behind her.
