Seven days a week?

The first time Minhee heard Seven, it was not how she expected it to go.

At all.

They were together at her place. Jungkook had just come back from Los Angeles, finishing the final sessions for his solo album set to debut in November. 

The single would be coming out in late July to be more of a summer song.

Her album was actually debuting this week on July 7th, so the girl was a bit more jumpy and nervous then usual.

"Jagiya, I want you to hear something," Jungkook said casually, already pulling his phone out

Minhee beamed an excited smile as she hopped her way over to him.

"It's going to be the first single."

Jungkook and Minhee are really close, but not only because of their relationship... musically, Jungkook really enjoys Minhee's opinions.

"Really?? The first single??" She repeated in excitment, shifting on the couch, tucking one leg under her as Jungkook sat down beside her

At first it was normal.

Very catchy.

"I like it Jungkookie-ah-" Minhee nodded slightly, already recognizing the vibe

It was the kind of song that she could already hear playing everywhere.

Then the lyrics hit.

And she froze.

Her eyes widened just a fraction, brows pulling together as she listened closer like maybe... just maybe she heard that wrong.

She didn't.

Her head turned slowly toward him.

Jungkook, for his part, was suddenly very interested in absolutely nothing, leaning back, one arm stretched across the back of the couch, trying way too hard to look casual.

"Jungkookie-ah-"

He turned his head, blinking at her with wide, innocent bunny eyes as Minhee stared at him.

"...It's about loving somebody seven days a week, jagiya."

"And I love you."

Her face almost swelled up at that. Also the way he was looking at her. the lip ring, his long permed hair-

"Jagi," She began as she ran a hand through her hair 

She was easily flustered at that, looking anywhere else but his eye line

What was she supposed to say after that remark?

"To have on a lead single... that you're-" she turned to finally look at him, lowering her voice

She couldn't even say it.

"But we have before-" Jungkook tried to interrupt, already laughing at her reaction

"JAGI, THAT'S NOT THE POINT!"

Her cheeks burned instantly as he fully broke, laughing even harder, almost doubling over.

Minhee dropped back against the couch, covering her face.

"Have the others listened to it yet?" she asked, voice muffled through her hands

"...Yeah."

"JUNGKOOKIE-AH!!" She instantly got back up dramatically pacing

"Oh my god, I'm never seeing them again."
