LAST VACATION

chapter 3

It was too sharp, close and obvious, too scary to react immediately but yes something was wrong.

Looks like the prefect Hughes family is about to have some task to handle on the so peaceful vacation.

The last time Timmy heard his wife scream like that was when she got knocked by a truck just when
she was about crossing the street back to the house from the neighbors, so hearing this similar scream now... He need no fort eye to feel something was wrong.
It most be terrible.

The last thing jimmy wanted was for anything to happen during this vacation, he wanted it in total peace and calm , at most he needed it to be the most momerable thing for the family. If anything came out so loud since the vacation, a sound and carefree laugh was the loudest thing they'd heard since this vacation. Hearing Dina's voice come in so much strength and fear, he knew something was wrong.
It should be terrible.

As much as he wanted to crack that bloody joke and make all of them laugh and have Daco like him some more, he just had to shut up and look up at that window where the scream came. It sounded so horrible and trrible , not like Dina's voice at all. He didn't need to think again but yh something was wrong.
That's the sound.
Its a bit terrible.

Even with that scream so loud and annoying, snapping everyone out of their happy bobble, mark still felt maybe his mom just tripped over a stair, after all his dad always thought of her as one precious doll but hey, that's when it happens at home, and only at night, maybe she's sleep walking or chasing the cat, but hearing it now he needed no replay of it to know something was wrong.
Something terrible.

Daco has only heard Dina scream once and that was when she visited and was sleep walking at midnight. She kept cripping around so when he got of bed and went down after her, she gave a scream when he shooked her so hard to wake up. But this one,
Sound of absolute ,it is terrible. No hearing it again but he knew something was up.
Certainly its terrible.

No one waited to be told again as all stood and took off entering the house.
She was not donwstairs.
Upstairs then.
Oh well, when men get terrified, they do the unexpected,
Taking three stairs at a time they were all up.

"Were are you Dina?" Timmy asked half shouting
"Hanna's room" Daco called out.
Shock.
Silence.

"Ohh who did this" Cara broke down beside Dina holding out Hanna's hand .
She looked so weak. She was terrified. Completed scared.

The look on Timmy's face was very far from anger, or shock ,
He looked out of the world.
So lost in the blank space.
"Call the police" jimmy shouted, oh he was so angry,
How dare who ever it is touch his niece.

"We can't" stunt said
Everyone's face turned to him.
"I mean, we need to look for the perso now, we need to look around quick, we are far from the reach of the police" he said looking scared but a bit confident

"Oh don't pls" Dina spoke between treas.
No one even knew she was crying. The room was so silent.

If there is one thing jimmy never wanted, was to have a case before he was made judge , not to mention family issue. But here he was. Now facing a shattered vacation, with a case of rape

The silence yet filled the room again as the only thingn that could be heard were the stiffing sobs .

Mark looked down at his younger sister and stiffled a sob.
Its one thing for siblings to fight and fall out with each out and wish themselves a lot of terrible things, but this one he would never wish for anyone , not even his worst enemy.
But here was his poor sister laying inbetween their mothers legs.
Rapped.
Yes, Hanna has been rapped.

"Pls tell me who did this" was all Dina managed to say before she broke in to full time sobbing.

Too ashamed to give her a second look. Daco just left the room with his hand on his head in terror .

The evening most have been the most quite anyone has ever experienced before.
After the countless searching and there were no odes around
the house, everyone seemed to give up and stay on their own .
Everyone staying were they felt was the best to have an alone time to think.

The ladies helped a crying Hanna to a warm bath. Replacing the blood stained sheets with a new, they put her to bed .
With Dina staying back to nurse her daughter, Cara headed down to get them dinner.
Food solves a lot problems. As much as everyone kept to himself and there was hardly any communication since they found a rapped Hanna in blind folds on her bed crying, Cara felt food may help bring them together again.
Bring tthem to talking terms again .
Well not the normal happy moments but at least they could decide if Hanna's rape will be kept as their family's big little screte or if they should tell the police.

Well they could not let it just go down like that, so if they will keep quite about it to the public then they also had to try and fish out the rappiest .
Her dad is a soldier, her uncle, a lawyer, oh sorry a to be judge, who thinks they could come rape Hanna and just get free? .
Well food first , and after they will talk.

Cara walked into the small but portable kitchen and looked round, confused on what to make for dinner, its not like it was dinner anyways, it was past time but since the vacation it has being their habit to eat late. So jackill always just set the table for dinner and put every other thing in place and no doubt head off to bed .
For a man of his age jackill slept a lot.
Well just for the vacation since he never stayed with them .

Apparently the table was not set. No food in the kitchen either,
Something most be wrong.

First knock .... No answer,
"Jackill?" Cara called through the door.
"Is all OK with you?, there is no food on the table"
Knock again ... No answer.
"GUYS. Errrm ....,EVERYONE ....SOMETHING'S UP" Cara didn't need to be told something was up, jackill's room was empty with a few obvious items missing.

In no time everyone was out. Its clear they all thought she'd seen something but seen her stand there on the stairs like that their faces fell.
"What is it Cara?" jimmy snapped. Obviously annoyed
" jackill is gone"
Stern faces .
Silence.
