A Guide To Skin-Changer Courting [COMPLETED]

Step Three: Separation

Welcome to Step Three, you are almost done with your Courtship.

Separation from your Mate- Though it may seem cruel, this is actually an important Step. This Step shows how much your Mate means to you and if you can find her when she is far away.

You will be blind folded and something will be placed over your nose so you cannot see or smell where your Mate is going. Someone will take your Mate to a place far from you, it could be Bree, Erabor itself, or even Rivendell. When enough time has passed, your eyes and nose will be uncovered and you are then to find where your Mate went without any clues.

How fast you get to the place she was taken to and how many times you stopped to rest (if you even stopped at all), shows how determined you were to find her.

Once this Step is done you can then move to the fourth and final step. It also has three parts to it.

Step Three is to only be done by male Skin-Changers. If a female Skin-Changer's Mate is from another Race, then this step is to be replaced with the step of her Mate's Race's Courting Ritual.
