Chapter 13

After Isaac took Sabrina to her room, we sat silently in the living room for around ten minutes, when Jacob spoke up.
"Do you think their doing it?" He asks randomly. Everyone laughs, but shakes their head.
"Definitely not," Zeke states, "she is still a virgin she wouldn't give up her v-card that easy." He chuckles after. We all nod.
She is smarter than that. I think to myself. She won't give it up til she's sure.
"I just hope that asshole doesn't come back," I mumble. "Who knows who he'll go after next." Zeke walks up and hugs me.
"If he comes back there will be no way he is getting near any of you girls. Okay?" He whispers in my ear. I nod into his shoulder. He rubs my back then turns to the rest of the group. "If that bastard comes back he won't be able to get within ten feet of any of you girls. Okay?" He asks.
All the girls nod, but Emily. She stands up and sticks out her chin.
"I was promised that I could be the one who got to kill him." She states confidently.
"By who?" Andy asks.
"Sabrina said I could." She responds. Everyone laughs and mumbles random things like 'of course she did'. We all settle into a peaceful silence. Slowly we all head off to different rooms for bed. As I walk towards the room I will be staying in, Zeke follows me.
"Do you need something?" I question him.
"No... Well sort of. What did Sabrina mean when she said that someone has loved me for a long time?" He asks. I blush madly, and thank god that its dark in the room.
"I have no idea." I mumble.
"Oh OK."
"So..... Anything else?"
"Not that I can think of."
"Well goodnight then." I say closing the door, but he stos itih his foot.
"Wait."
"Yes?" Suddenly I feel a pair of lips on mine. It is a kiss full of passion, yet it I soft and sweet. I respond immediately, kissing back with just as much passion. We pull apart as we run out of breath. Breathing quickly we lean against each other. I open my eyes and look into Zeke's grey ones. "What was that for?" I breathe out.
"I've liked you for a really long time Lily." He whispers. I go to kiss him again, but I realize how much he hurt me.
"You hurt me." I say, pulling away.
"I'm sorry, really." He says.
"Prove it." With that I shut the door in hi face.

I woke up with Sabrina in my arms. I smile and grab my phone to check the time. Its only 3:15 in the morning, so I wrap my arm back around Sabrina's waist and nuzzle my face into her neck. She moves and I tense. I relax when I realize she was only rolling over in her sleep. I lay on my back as she lays her head on my chest. Her arm is across my stomach, and mine is around her waist. I sigh in contentment and lay there thinking about the beautiful, broken girl in my arms. The girl I would die for. The girl I will love at all times. I just have to wait before I say those three little words. If I say them now she will mostly likely run and I couldn't live with that. She will realize one day that she is the most beautiful girl in this world and the only reason I am staying strong. She is my anchor, and she always will be. She brought me back to my best friend, and she showed me what love is. I love her more than anything in the world. The only people next to her in this world are my two little sisters and that is my only family that I can stand. They are the other piece of my heart.
