❤Sabrina's POV❤
I wake up to sunlight shining directly in my face. I groan and slowly start to get up. I'm an insomniac, meaning I'm sleep deprived. So to me, sleep is a glorious thing. I finally get to my feet, and walk towards my bathroom. I take a quick shower and get dressed for the day.
I put on some ripped black skinny jeans, a Fall Out Boy tank top, my cropped leather jacket, and my tall Black Veil Brides converse. I crimp my hair, placing a light gray beanie on. I apply foundation, mascara, and some dark red lipstick. I never use very much make up. I smile at my reflection. I start my walk downstairs while clipping on my locket I got from some friends.
"Still not home I see," I say to myself. My parents must be on one of their longer business trips. I walk into the kitchen and grab a granola bar. I go to leave when I see a note on the counter.
Sabrina,
I'm so sorry, but we won't be back for two weeks. We are going to be having someone check up on you twice each week. I left some money on the counter. Be careful. I love you.
Mom
I grab the money she mentioned and walk out my front door. I decide to text Emily, and see if she can pick me up.
S- Hey Em can you stop here on your way to school? Pweeeeeaaaassssseeee.
E- Fine. I'll be there in ten. BTW don't talk like a baby.
S- Yay! I'll be ready. I shall never stop.
I put my phone in my pocket, and sit on the front steps. I eat my granola bar in the first five minutes. I shove the trash in my bag, and put my headphones in. I connect them to my iPod, and play one of my favorite songs, Battle Scars.
"These battle scars don't look like they're fading. Don't look like they're ever going away. They ain't ever gonna change. These battle."
I smile as I sing along with Guy Sebastion. What can I say? The guy has a great voice. You can't even hear his Australian accent when he sings. I look up to the sound of a honk. I smile as I see Emily in her car, smiling and waving at me. I smile back and walk to the passenger side, climbing in.
"Hey Brina," she says happily. Then all of a sudden she is frowning, but not at me. She is frowning at something or someone behind me. I turn in my seat to see Isaac running towards the car.
"Go, quick!" I hiss at Emily. She puts the car in reverse and starts to back out, but before she can get to far Isaac knocked on her window. She slwoly rolled it down.
"Do you think maybe I could catch a ride to school with you? My car won't start." He says quickly. Emily glances at me then hesitantly nods her head. He smiles and climbs in the back seat. Right... Behind... Me. Fuck. Emily starts driving, and soon we are at the school. I grab my bag and climb out of her car quickly. I walk over to Breanna and Lily. They smile at me, then frown at something behind me. I turn around to see none other than Isaac Briant.
"What the hell do you want?" I ask him as he walks up. He smirks and leans towards me. My heartbeat quickens, and my breath hitches. He leans even closer until his lips are at my ear.
"I know the effect I have on you," he whispers, "because you have the same effect on me." I look at him confused. He just kisses me on the cheek and walks away.
Did he just say he liked me? Please god tell me I heard him wrong.
A.N.- i know this is short but i was having trouble writing. The next chapter will be Isaac's point of view. And Sabrina's parents are known to be gone for long periods of time, so she usually has the house to herself. The song battle scars is to the side.
