*Ariel*

I opened my front door after knocking went on for several minutes. I just finished my shower and was putting my hair up in a bun. I gasped when I saw Castiel standing outside my doorway.

"Oh! Castiel? What're you doing here?"

"I've realized I've been ignoring you the past few days and I wanted to talk." He gave me a shy smile that made my heart flutter.

"Yeah okay, come in then." I gestured inside and Castiel slipped in. "What'd you want to talk about?" I asked him.

"I have news. I have a way for us to be together without Rafael thinking I'm becoming a human." He said. My heart lifted in my chest. I never wanted to start something with Castiel that we couldn't finish.

"What? Really? What is it?" I asked excitedly.

"I'm afraid you aren't going to like it too much..." Castiel whispered. I placed my hand on his knee.

"Tell me, please?" I gave my best puppy dog face. Soon Castiel sighed and ran his hands through his hair.

"You need to become an angel." He bluntly put out there. I widened my eyes and stammered.

"Wh-why?"

"For me to be with you without Rafael annihilating me, I would either have to fall or you would have to become an angel. If I force myself to fall, it can be extremely painful, I could die, or have severe memory loss. There could be a chance I'll never remember who you are." Castiel's eyes met mine and his blue irises burned a bright color.

"Okay, but is there even any way for me to become an angel?" I questioned. He smiled faintly.

"Actually, the other day when you came over, I was getting the ritual from an angel." I involuntarily smiled because there could be a way for us to be together forever. "You might not like it though..."

"Why won't I like it?"

"The angel I received the information from told me in Enochian, our main language, I translated what he said, here it is." He pulled a piece of paper out of his pocket and handed it to me. I slowly unfolded the paper.

I skimmed through spell part and got to the items we'd need to preform it. Some basic spices and materials, but then I noticed something unexpected. We needed a massacre to fuel the spell. Castiel and I needed to kill thirty-five innocent people. I lifted my eyes from the paper and stared at him.

"No," I whispered, "no!"

"Calm down, it's the only way for you to become an angel, we can take the risk Ariel. Once the souls die we can take care of them in heaven." He grabbed my hand and entwined our fingers. "This could work. I can be with you forever."

I pondered the thought of Castiel and I in heaven. Of course, I don't know what heaven is like, but come on, it's heaven. Then again, 35 people we'd have to kill.

"Castiel, I wouldn't be able to do this. The thought of you and I killing 35 people breaks my heart." I could clearly see Castiel swallowed hard.

"Umm actually, I can't help you kill them, you'd have to do it on your own..."

"What?! No!!" I shrieked.

"To become an angel you have to do a deed that you might have to accomplish once an angel. We aren't fluffy cupids, we are cold-blooded things. They want you to kill and then guide the souls to heaven and be their mentor once in heaven." He explained.

I let out a long breath. I didn't know what to do. My heart was telling me to do anything needed to be with Castiel, but my head was telling me that all of this was wrong.

I couldn't just kill people on my own just to be with someone I met a week ago. I knew that, but somehow, I felt as if I needed Castiel to survive. I glanced up and caught his gaze. I gasped slightly. I forgot how beautiful he was for a moment.

His eyes were sparkling expectantly. He wanted me to say I would do it, become an angel. I noticed stubble was forming on his chin. It made him look more rugged and scruffy. I liked it.

"Castiel I'm not sure..." Before I could say anymore Castiel pressed his lips to mine.

I gasped slightly in surprise. He grabbed my face in his hands and tilted his head to deepen the kiss. Castiel nibbled on my bottom lips sending shivers through me. I liked the spontaneous Cas. I kissed him back hard. He pulled back slightly and rested his forehead against mine.

"I wish I could do so much more, but I can't." He said huskily causing me to melt.

"Yes." I told him.

"What?" He asked.

"I want to become an angel."
