It's been three days since Nick arrived at Paragon City and met the mysterious Cladz. He was still curious about his origin, but he let it go and now, he thought of him as his own cat.
He slipped the key inside and opened the door.
"Hi, Cladz! Brought you some fish!"
Cladz came bounding in and greeted him with a meow.
"Hey, Nick. Actually, I have something to tell you," he said seriously.
"What? Is everything alright?"
"Yes, come sit down wherever you want to. I have to tell you something."
He obeyed and waited.
"You see... I hope you're not too shock to hear that... I'm not a cat."
Once again, Nick stared at Cladz stupidly. The sentence was just too ridiculous that it had lost its meaning.
Finally, he found his voice, "What do you mean?"
"You're the only person who can actually see me. You're gifted. And I'm actually a dead cat trapped inside the 'World of Darkness' and can't get out."
"What are you trying to say? That you're only my imagination's product?"
"No, no. I'm real. But my body is trapped in the 'World of Darkness' and I need your help to get out. You're the only person who can get my body out and relive me."
"So... Let me get this clear," he replied slowly. "First, you're a ghost and I'm a gifted person who can see you. Second, you need me to relive you. Why me? And last, what is this 'World of Darkness' place?"
Cladz sighed. "It will be a long story, and I'm willing to tell you all."
