Author's Note: Wow! I never thought it will reach 20 readers in such a quick time. Thank you! You are all wonderful readers!

Now, as I promised, here's Part Four. Enjoy!

"Okay, the carving on the bedside table is a portal. You just have to bring it to a historical place for me. The nearest one from here is the hallway just outside this room. It was where I attacked the man who has killed my friend."

Nick nodded. "Okay."

They made their way to the bedroom and Nick looked at the carving closely for the second time.

"Hey, Cladz. It's a carving. How am I supposed to bring it outside? Bring the table?"

Cladz let out a strange-sounding laugh, considering he's a kitten.

"No, Nick. You have a gift, so use it!"

"But how?"

"I don't know. It's your gift. Follow your heart and you'll be able to do it."

Nick nodded nervously.

He placed his hand on the carving. He could feel its texture and his hand moved to sync it. It fit perfectly and it suddenly glowed brighter blue.

Nick didn't see Cladz smiling, and trust me, it was the scariest smile someone would ever see. Never ask your kitten to smile.

The carving magically lifted itself off the table and took the shape of something like an emblem that was made by a bluish-metallic coloured stone.

Cladz hopped on the emblem and he instantly disappeared.

"Cladz?"

"Take me there," said a voice from the emblem.

Nick nodded and took the emblem outside.

A part of the floor seemed to glow a dull blue and he instinctively walked there. As he walked nearer and nearer, the tile glowed brighter and brighter.

He kneeled down and he could hear a faint buzzing sound.

As soon as the emblem touched the ground, Nick let out a piercing scream.

Author's Note: Sorry it's not a long chapter, but I promise the next will be longer.

For the next part, I need 10 votes for this part. Easy, right?

Okay, maybe not that easy.
