Perrie's POV:

I was waiting quietly for the doctor to come and take out Katelyn's stitches when she spoke up,

"Mum, does it hurt to have stitches taken out?" she asked obliviously. I felt a pang of guilt as she asked the question. I realized I have never had it done so I just decided to tell the truth.

"I've never had it done before," I replied. She nodded knowingly,

"It does doesn't it?" She saw right through my excuse.

"It will depend on how deep the cut was. That was not very deep so I don't think it should hurt at all," I said nodding. The doctor then opened the door and asking for Katelyn. When she said yes, he walked completely inside the room and pulled up a chair on her left side.

"Where is Ally and Dad?" Katelyn asked me. I realized I hadn't seen Zayn all day.

"I don't know where Zayn is but Ally is out in the hall she didn't want to see this happen," I explained.

"Oh, I see," she replied sounding disappointed. The doctor was just about to start taking out her stitches. I grabbed her hand and ran my thumb over it soothingly. She nodded and he began. I felt her grip on my hand get a bit tighter.

"It's alright, honey. It's okay. You're doing great," I cooed. I saw tears start to form in her eyes. She was trying so hard to keep them from falling but I saw one escape. I reached with my free hand to wipe it away. I could tell it didn't hurt but it was probably scary trusting anyone you don't know since the kidnapping incident.

She seemed to calm down after about a minute and was just ready to get it over with.

"Last one and..........done," the doctor said finishing up. He got up and put the tool away.

"Oh, that didn't really hurt at all. That was stupid of me," Katelyn laid back down. I gave her a kiss on the cheek.

"It was just trust," I said getting up and leaving to go get Ally.

"Oh, Ms. Edwards!" The doctor called just I opened the door. I turned to look at him.

"At 2 o'clock we are going to to an x-ray to look for broken bones. We didn't do that after the accident. We had to wait for the glass wounds to begin healing," he explained and I nodded.

"See you then, I guess," I replied walking outside to get Ally. I looked where I left her and she wasn't there.

"Ally!" I called. I looked around and found her with the police. The policeman was talking to her off to the side and people were staring at them. I ran up and hugged her.

"I thought somebody was going to take you away from me again," I exclaimed. People were staring but I didn't care.

"Come on, let's go," I grabbed her hand and started pulling her away when the police officer spoke up.

"Ms. Edwards, I haven't finished interviewing her," I sighed.

"Can't you finish later?" I asked, clearly annoyed.

"I'm sorry, but you're welcome to stay with your daughter if you'd like," he replied and we sat down.

"This will only take a few more minutes," he smiled. Ugh, how can he smile at a time like this? He asked a lot of questions about the man who hit us and the car accident. How can she remember? Like seriously.

After he was finished I realized my Mum, Debbie was coming to visit the girls. I brought Ally back into Katie's room.

"Why did you bring back? I thought you were going to drop me off at home," Ally asked, clearly confused.
