Always Be Together

8- Sadness

Allison's POV:

A couple hours had gone by and Katelyn still hadn't come out. Perrie told me I should go to bed. They tucked me in and sang me a lullaby.

I tossed and turned trying to find the right position. I just couldn't sleep.

I checked the clock to see that it was three in the morning. Merrrp. I had gotten zero sleep. I had gone to bed at about 10. I had only been half asleep most of the night. Zayn had snapped me out of my daze when he got up to go to the studio.

I spent a couple more hours trying to sleep but sadly the odds were never in my favor. It was about 6 o'clock when I finally decided to get up. I went and got breakfast then went to watch TV. It was supposed to be the funniest show ever. I didn't even laugh nor smile once.

At around 11:30 Perrie got up and got breakfast. She seemed to suspect my sadness.

"What's wrong?" she soon asked sitting beside me on the couch. I didn't really know what I was feeling. I came to conclusions that it was just confusion.

"I didn't really know what happened in the real world and now I'm getting a taste of what it's like. That taste, isn't too great. It's bitter sweet," I said looking down at my hands.

"I know what you mean, my mom kept me from all that stuff and as soon as got to the x factor, it was a punch in the face. I didn't see something like that happening either," Perrie revealed.

"I didn't know people could be so cruel," I turned to face her. She nodded.

"Definitely a cruel world," she agreed. We spent until lunch watching tv. We laughed our heads off. While putting my dishes away, it suddenly hit me.

"Perrie?" I said. Going a little wide eyed.

"Yeah?" she cluelessly responded.

"Do you think Katelyn is okay?" I asked. She quickly reacted quickly by running to the bathroom and knocking on it frantically getting no answer. She grabbed a bobby pin out of her pocket.

"I didn't go to girl guides for nothing! Thank you mum!" she said picking the lock on the door.

"I'm kinda afraid to open the door," she whispered. She did end up opening and we found Katelyn sitting in a corner sulking.

"Leave me alone!" she snapped. I jumped. She never does that.

"You need to eat, love," Perrie said going closer.

"No," she didn't even look up.

"You did nothing wrong," Perrie sat beside her. Katelyn moved away from her and put her head in her hands.

"I didn't want her to know."
